The Henry is an outdoor wedding and event venue nestled on 15 peaceful acres near Fall Creek Falls State Park in Spencer, Tennessee. Rooted in family, tradition and the beauty of gathering together, The Henry was created to be more than just another wedding venue. Inspired by the warmth of Sunday dinners at our grandparents’ house, you’ll find long farmhouse-style tables, mismatched vintage wooden chairs, traditional church pews and hundreds of glowing string lights. Every detail was chosen to create a place that feels timeless, welcoming and a little like home. From exchanging vows beneath the Tennessee sky to celebrating around the table with the people you love, The Henry offers a beautiful setting without the formality of a traditional venue. Our peak wedding season is April through June and September through November, when Tennessee’s beautiful spring blooms and fall colors create a wonderful backdrop for outdoor celebrations.
Our off-peak season is December through March and July through August. We welcome celebrations throughout the year, with each season offering its own unique atmosphere.
Yes! Couples are welcome to bring their own alcohol to The Henry. We believe in giving you the flexibility to create a celebration that fits your vision. All alcohol must be served and consumed in accordance with applicable laws and our venue policies.

Yes! The Henry offers accessible restroom facilities for guests. As an outdoor venue with natural terrain, we encourage couples to discuss any specific accessibility needs with us before booking so we can help make their visit as comfortable as possible.
Our wedding rentals include access to our outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, traditional wooden church pews, farmhouse-style tables, vintage wooden chairs, outdoor stage, serving bar, restroom and touch-up area, and beautiful overhead string lighting. A complimentary two-hour rehearsal and one-hour photo session are also included.
Our standard wedding rentals include 12 hours of venue access, allowing time for setup, your ceremony, reception and cleanup. Additional time may be available for $150 per hour.
A 50% nonrefundable booking payment is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 60 days before your event. Bookings made within 60 days require payment in full. Additional cancellation and rescheduling terms are outlined in your rental agreement.
The Henry is located in Spencer, Tennessee, near Fall Creek Falls State Park. Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is a convenient option for guests flying in. Rental cars are available for the scenic drive to our countryside venue.
No! The Henry does not require couples to purchase event insurance for their wedding or celebration. We believe in keeping the planning process simple and avoiding unnecessary expenses whenever possible.
