The Hangar Avondale

My wife and I had our anniversary celebration here and it was the most amazing and seamless event ever. The staff was amazing and the event space was gorgeous. Music was easy to get going and control and they have the perfect amount of seating and table available for any part.

We had our 1 year anniversary/ reception here on May 2nd 2026. The space is incredible. Every corner and wall is decorated and gorgeous. I threw a couple flowers on tables and I was done with decorating. The space truly speaks for itself. And the photos showed that in the end. There is tiny nook with 2 high back arm chairs and little arcade game. It would have been a super cool photo opportunity had I remembered to get the shot. Such a cool unique space. The bathroom was even cute(AND CLEAN) and I saw many bathroom selfies the next day. We had a guest list of 125 and it was the perfect size. We added mostly standing tables and a few tables to sit down and eat. Tables and chairs included in price. There is also a small "bridal suite" that had full length mirrors and a small vanity for me to touch up my hair and makeup thru the night. I left my bag back here and there was a code lock on the door so no one could go in. Not to mention, you have 41st Street pub next door. So before the party started we had a tab going at the bar for our early guest. There were so many other add ons I didn't take advantage of but this space can do so much. However 41st Street pub is i believe the only place in Birmingham to get a proper Guinness (my husband is very passionate about this). We requested to add Guinness to our bar package and had a personal keg and tap added. It was crowd favorite. We played a playlist all night straight off our phone. Bluetooth connection and wifi included. Seemless transition. Jess was incredible and I cannot recommend this place enough.
