At The Farm, our story is rooted in Montana heritage and thoughtfully reimagined for unforgettable celebrations. Originally built in 1903, our two-story barn has been carefully restored to preserve its rustic character while adapting it for modern gatherings. Original tack rooms have been converted into restrooms, and historic horse stalls now serve as unique bar spaces—honoring the barn’s past in every detail. Set atop a hill on our 500-acre working ranch, where we raise horses, cattle, and forage, the venue offers sweeping 360-degree views of the Flathead Valley. A crystal-clear, spring-fed pond below—brilliantly turquoise year-round—adds a stunning natural backdrop. Located in Bigfork, Montana, just 30 minutes from Glacier National Park, The Farm is perfect for couples seeking an authentic Montana ranch wedding experience.

Keeping the charm of the 1903 Barn, the space includes tack rooms converted to bathrooms and livestock stalls converted to bars.

Originally built in 1903, our two-story barn has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its original character while adapting it for modern gatherings. Tack rooms are now restrooms, and horse stalls have been transformed into unique bar spaces. The versatile layout easily transitions from dinner to cocktails to dancing, with removable whiskey barrel tables and power for full bands in the center stall.

Timeless wood sanctuary featuring three statement chandeliers, soaring ceilings, and panoramic windows overlooking the Flathead Valley.

Originally built in 1903, our two-story barn has been carefully restored to preserve its original character. The upstairs, once used to store hay bales, has been transformed into the ultimate celebration space with soaring ceilings, three chandeliers, and panoramic windows framing sweeping views. A large south-facing deck offers fresh air and gathering space. The room includes a movable stage, production-ready hookups on both ends, and 10 custom cocktail tables made from recycled wire spools.

A secluded ceremony point on the edge of a turquoise, spring-fed pond surrounded by working farmland, open skies, and sweeping mountain views. This peaceful setting offers a breathtaking Big Sky sunset backdrop and comfortably seats up to 300 guests, with space for more. A custom large wood arch, built from reclaimed wood from the original 1903 barn, frames the ceremony.

Pond Picnic + Pond Pasture

Sprawling green gathering space beside a turquoise spring-fed pond, perfect for cocktail hours, receptions, and open-air celebrations.

The Pond Picnic features a 1,800 sq ft concrete pad with fire pit, shaded grassy picnic areas, and production-level hookups for live bands beside the turquoise spring-fed pond. Just north, the Pond Pasture offers expansive open space for tents, parking, and additional cocktail or dining setups for larger events.

    We chose THE FARM Montana because we wanted a venue that felt authentic and rustic, and they delivered exactly that. From our first conversation, the team was honest and straightforward about what they could offer, which made planning stress-free. They went above and beyond by helping us coordinate setup and cleanup. Every detail was in perfect condition when we arrived, and the classic Barn space gave our wedding exactly the feel we were looking for.     Mother of the groom

    We had a beautiful and fun wedding at The Farm. The grounds and restored barn overlook a pond and are beautiful. They were very helpful, easy to work with, and with wonderful ideas on how to use the spaces. Cocktails were outside by the pond, dinner was downstairs with dancing upstairs. We would recommend The Farm!

    Perfect Montana Wedding

    From our first conversation with The Farm Montana, we knew we'd found the right venue. The team was responsive and creative throughout the planning process, helping us bring our vision to life in ways we hadn't even imagined. On the day of our wedding, the property gave us endless backdrops for photos—from the horses and cattle to the vintage stagecoaches and wagons scattered across the grounds. The multiple spaces allowed our guests to move through the barn, reception areas, cocktail spots, and dance floor over the course of six hours, making the whole event feel like an adventure. The barn itself was stunning with its rustic charm, and the bars and bathrooms were thoughtfully designed. We can't thank The Farm Montana enough for creating such an authentic and charming setting for our celebration.
