At Nicky's + The Maxwell Room, you can have a wedding that is not only special and fun, but also includes food, bar, staff, furnishings, dinnerware, AV and a planner, for $10k or LESS! Our award winning restaurant just celebrated 9 years of business, and features our signature scratch made Italian cuisine. With two spaces for events small and large, we can accommodate intimate weddings for smaller groups of 30-70 ($1500-$5000), or ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 ($5000-$10,000). Our new events space, The Maxwell Room, is a completely private space adjacent to Nicky’s Coal Fired.
This room accommodates up to 70 guests for a seated dinner or up to 90 for a cocktail party style event with buffet/passed dinner.

I've dined here while living in Nashville and had our wedding here (which will be the focus of my review) in July 2026. The food was delicious- I will be thinking about the focaccia and butter for weeks to come. The space was super functional for all our needs and was an adorable backdrop for our wedding of 85 people. Perhaps most noteworthy are the people. They were exceptionally competent yet laid back, flexible and kind, and easy to work with. These are the folks that go the extra mile to ensure quality. I had so much peace of mind because I knew Nicky's had everything covered. Their day-of-coordinator (Katie) worked with us well outside of the day-of and was SO incredibly helpful. She answered all of our questions and took our many calls. I toured several places while looking for a wedding venue, and Nicky's stood out as a place that is genuinely excited to celebrate you. They do not nickel and dime you like many places do as soon as you say the word 'wedding.' Their pricing was incredibly fair. If you are a bride, groom, or someone throwing a special occasion event, I truly cannot recommend Nicky's enough!!

Great Venue your guests will love
From our first conversation with Katie and her team at Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room, we knew we had found our venue. They responded quickly to every question and gave us detailed answers that made planning feel easy and stress-free. The space itself is genuinely cozy and intimate, which helped our guests relax and enjoy the evening. Katie was incredibly flexible with our menu and went out of her way to accommodate our special requests without making us feel like we were asking too much. My biggest fear as having terrible food at our wedding, which is why we opted to have it at a restaurant. Our guests could not stop talking about the food—and the servers were so attentive that people felt truly taken care of throughout the night. It's rare to find a venue that feels this relaxed and special, and we're so grateful we chose them.

Perfect for Rehearsal Venue
We chose Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room for our rehearsal dinner and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The staff was attentive and friendly from start to finish, making sure we felt taken care of the whole night. They worked closely with us to nail down every detail about the food and seating so everything matched what we had in mind. The food was incredible and tasted even better than we expected. The space felt perfect for our celebration, and it really set the tone for the wedding weekend ahead. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a venue that cares about getting things right.

A perfect day in the Maxwell Room
Our wedding was two days ago and I’m still riding the high of what a perfect day it was! We were originally planning an elopement with just us and slowly transitioned into the idea of a small wedding. I wanted something intimate, chill and I didn’t want to do a ton of planning. We opted for the all inclusive option from Nicky’s on Saturday morning in the Maxwell room and it was the best choice for us. Katie was such a delight with work with. She was so fast to get back to our questions and made the process easy and enjoyable. She is great at her job! The DJ and photographers from Onyx Entertainment were awesome! They, along with our rad bartender and server made the day go so smoothly. The space was beautiful, they set up our decor perfectly and the food was fantastic! We had a wonderful experience and I recommend it highly!

Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first spoke with Katie, the event coordinator, we knew we were in good hands. Her professional and helpful communication style, along with her clear experience in the industry, put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The space itself is absolutely beautiful, and for all that is included in the reasonable price, it was truly jaw-dropping. Katie worked seamlessly with our other vendors, guiding everyone through the night with ease and clear direction. And the food -the food! Our guests are still raving about how delicious and high-quality it was. The staff was also incredibly delightful, adding to the overall wonderful experience. We are so grateful to Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room for helping make our day perfect.
