About this venue

Set in its' own private valley, Horstmann Homestead gives you the feel of being deep in the country but only 4 miles from the interstate. We have been in business for nearly ten years and are happy to share our little slice of God's Country with you for your wedding! We are a family run venue where we help you in the planning process of making your wedding day as stress free as possible. We have many in house services to make it a one stop shop for most wedding needs: DJ, Photographer, Bar Service, Day of Event Coordinator, and general knowledge of other vendors that have been to our facility before. We also offer different packages to help keep your wedding from breaking the budget. Weddings can get expensive but our philosophy is that the wedding itself shouldn't start the marriage off in massive debt. Set up a tour time through our email, we would love to show you around!

Wedding Barn

Rustic and elegant wedding barn

Refurbished hayloft with 5 mows that has been converted into a beautiful venue. it can hold up to 200 people for a sit down dinner but if you are looking for a more relaxed and free flowing event, 250 people can be held inside comfortably. built in 1896 this barn has stood the test of time and is a great metaphor for wedding held here...a strong sturdy foundation, a little rustic charm and a good time makes for one long lasting and happy marriage!

Bridal Suite: Girls get ready room

Cute Chicken coop that was converted into the ladies get ready room! With power, mirrors, changing screen and A/C it is the quaintest little Hen House perfect for pictures of you an your bridal party getting ready or just having fun before the big event!

Bull Pen

Bridal Suite: Men's Get ready room

Shot gun style room located underneath the barns reception hall. Perfect location for the guys to get ready and stay out of sight until it's time for the reveal or ceremony. Guys really just need a place to hang out until getting dressed and it is a great place to do just that. and they have no fun what so ever with the mini bar, the Foozball table, and dining table to place games or cards.

Ceremony Location under cover

A covered location to have your ceremony, rain or shine. It holds up to 200 people comfortably and it open air for the amazing view that the valley provides. Some couples have even converted it over after their ceremony into the dance floor location.
