About this venue
Grizzly Gardens is a unique-to-Montana wedding and event center nestled in the midst of the National Forest ~ the perfect setting for an intimate gathering, or outdoor wedding ceremony. The ‘town front’ was lovingly built to honor the early days of Montana with a bank, general store, and post office, complete with a wooden sidewalk (no spitting!). The property boasts a banquet hall with attached prep kitchen, a saloon (Yer' Last Chance!) and dance floor, ceremony gazebo and tiered lawn with seating up to 200, separate bride's and groom's ready rooms, as well as overnight accommodations for up to 10. Landscaping is complete with several water features and sitting areas, as well as access to the natural forest setting for the perfect photo op! Located just minutes from beautiful downtown Helena, yet seemingly miles away, we are the perfect location for your event or gathering of any kind!

Wedding at Grizzly Gardens
My wife and I got married at Grizzly Gardens August 14, 2025 and we really couldn't have hoped for things to be better, they were clear with all communications, extremely nice, all requests we had they were fine with implementing. Everything was very beautiful, all of the guests LOVED the venue. The honeymoon suite was so nice and care-free. 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking for a venue in Helena!
Relaxing and fun venue up on Grizzly Gulch!
We held our wedding party at Grizzly Gardens in May of 2025, and we were beyond happy with the experience. From start to finish, the venue exceeded our expectations in every way. Grizzly Gardens is truly a full service venue, which made the planning and execution of our event smooth and stress free. Their fully equipped kitchen was a huge plus for our caterers, and the ample seating areas provided a comfortable space for all of our guests to relax and enjoy the celebration. We didn’t have any guests staying from out of town, but if we had, Grizzly Gardens offers overnight accommodations for up 10 people. One of our highlights was the dance floor and sound equipment, which made it easy to keep the party going all night long. The acoustics were great, and having everything on-site meant we didn’t need to worry about rentals or set-up. The bar-area was another guest favorite, offering a great space for libations and conversation. The owners and staff are also incredible - professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our event special. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-equipped, and stress free venue in Helena, I highly recommend Grizzly Gardens. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends!
Excellent Venue!
We rented space from Grizzly Gardens for my daughter's high school graduation, not only was it easy to book but the entire area is absolutely gorgeous. We were given options of areas of the venue that we could utilize and pay for during our celebration and for the price and area we had it was worth every penny! If you haven't looked at this venue for your event you need to! Its like an old frontier town with small cabins and gardens throughout. Would absolutely book every event I have here!
Rustic Venue of Our Dreams
We were thrilled to have our wedding at Grizzly Gardens. The venue has such a unique vibe and plenty of space for guests to explore. Sarah personally ensured that everything was ran smoothly and we even ended up being ahead of schedule (crazy for a wedding!).
