About this venue

Just north of Greensboro, North Carolina, sits Oakhaven, nearly 1,400 rolling acres of countryside, anchored by a stately English manor with a history all its own. We'd love to add your story to it. Here's what we tell people who ask what makes this place different. You wake up here, walk out from the manor, and the view just doesn't quit, green pastures rolling on for as far as you can see, cattle grazing in the distance, your reception barn just below, and our oak tree standing at the bottom of the hill, older than anyone can say for certain, waiting for the two of you to say your vows beneath it. Ceremony, reception, getting-ready spaces, a place to stay the night. It's all here, on the same gorgeous property, so nobody has to rush off at the end of the evening. We built this place so every guest feels at home the moment they arrive, without losing an ounce of its polish. Come experience Oakhaven, and let's get you to "I do."

Our event spaces

Signature Oak

This is the tree every couple asks about, standing here for more than 150 years.

For more than 150 years, the Signature Oak has stood at the heart of Oakhaven, a sweeping canopy that feels both protective and beautiful. Couples are drawn to it for the quiet grandeur, a long green aisle, leaves rustling overhead, rows of vintage church pews for seating, and shade that keeps things comfortable even in summer. There's a stillness here that makes the moment feel entirely your own, right up until you say, "I do."

“Magnificent”

Included in this room:

Your guests are seated in rows of vintage church pews beneath the branches. Your wedding party processes through the flowering canopy first, then the doors close and reopen for your own entrance down the aisle. Though the site is an easy walk from the parking lot, we're happy to shuttle guests down by golf cart as a courtesy.

Manor Gardens

Couples say their vows at the end of a stone path lined with garden that is always full of color no matter the time of year.

The towering 1930s Tudor-style manor sets the backdrop for this garden, its lawn and borders showing color in three different seasons. Winding walkways let you choose exactly how your guests are seated, and a stone path leads from the manor down to the gazebo where couples say their vows. It's one of our most requested ceremony sites, and once you've walked that path yourself, you'll understand why.

Grand Dutch Reception Hall

Ask anyone who's danced here till midnight, this barn was built to hold a party.

The Grand Dutch Reception Hall is our barn-inspired reception space, built from old, paneled wood walls sourced from Corral Wood in Montana and warmed by a ten-foot stone fireplace that's a focal point in every season. It's heated and cooled to whatever temperature you want, so summer heat or winter chill never crashes the party. This space also serves as our indoor ceremony option and rain plan, so the weather never gets the final say on your day.
