Dovecote Ranch is tucked away on 250 acres of pasture, vineyard, lake, and rolling hills in the heart of wine country, just 40 minutes north of Santa Barbara. Around every turn awaits another breathtaking location for guests to create lasting memories and unforgettable images. Choose your site for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Then capture your event with your choice of picturesque locations for wedding party, first look, and newlywed photographs. Here you'll find vineyard, pond, lake, pasture, meadow and other rustic landscapes.

Run of the Ranch

Off-peak pricing $12,000

Description

Our 'Run of the Ranch' package includes your venue, 3 nights stay in our deluxe rentals, and the privacy of having the ranch to yourself (no wine tastings or other events to the public) during your stay. We can provide wine tasting, fishing excursions in our bass and trout ponds, vineyard tours, and guided horseback rides throughout our beautiful 250 acres of lapsing hills, views, and vineyards for additional fees.

Our peak season is generally the summer. We only host about 5 weddings a year at our venue as we want to keep the weddings special with the utmost attention to creating the most beautiful wedding venue imaginable.
January, February, March, April, and December
We do require you to purchase two cases of any of our own label Dovecote wines. You can choose to serve them at your event or keep them for the future. We do allow outside beverages with a licensed bartender.
We have ample parking for large events. We do require a shuttle from the parking areas to the event areas on the ranch.
For large events at our pond we require restrooms to be brought in. There are handicap restrooms that can be rented. Otherwise the events by our Mission Pond are outdoors on one level.
Our beautiful venue. Our "Run of the Ranch" package includes the preparation of the venue area/s as well as accommodations for 18 people or more. We have staff on hand to ensure your event goes smoothly and to assist your wedding coordinator.
The Santa Barbara airport is a 40 minute drive away. The Santa Maria airport is a 20 minute drive.
Yes, you do need insurance for your event, as well as your vendors need to show proof of insurance.
