About this venue
Carnes Lake is an 1800 square foot hall that will be perfect for your wedding and/or reception. It's set on a private, fenced and gated, property outside Lancaster SC at 3548 N Rocky River Rd. The 6 acre lakefront venue will make you smile and breathe a little easier as soon as you arrive. The hall will accommodate around 50 - 75 people inside and room to double that with outdoor seating. Both inside and outside areas have a beautiful lakefront view. Another great feature is ample parking for all you guests. Whether you're in Lancaster, Charlotte, Waxhaw, Monroe or Pageland, Carnes Lake Banquet Hall is perfect.

Carnes Lake Banquet Hall packages
Peak Season Package
During the months of February through November, we offer a two day rental on the days of Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a total cost of $1,995 and a three day rental for a total cost of $2,195. We offer a one day rental on the days of Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for a cost of $895. You will have the venue from 7:30 am to midnight on the days that you book the venue.
Off-Peak Package
During the months of December and January, we offer a one day rental on the days of Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday for a cost of $995 and a one day rental on the days of Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for a cost of $895. We offer a two day rental for a cost of $1,995 and a three day rental for a cost of $2,195. You will have the venue from 7:30 am to midnight on the days that you have booked the venue.

My daughters wedding at the beautiful Carnes lake
Communication with Fran at Carnes Lake Banquet Hall was absolutely amazing. She was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The space was perfect for our wedding, and Fran was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to view the area several times. Carnes Lake is a beautiful venue that can host weddings, family reunions, and other gatherings. Fran is amazing to work with and helped make our special day truly wonderful. Thank you Fran for everything!
Carnes Lake
Carnes Lake Banquet Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start, communication with Fran was great - she always responded quickly to our questions and requests. The space itself was beautiful, both inside and out, creating a lovely backdrop to celebrate our special day with the exact theme we we’re looking for. As a smaller group, Carnes Lake provided an intimate and cozy setting that really allowed us to enjoy the company of our closest friends and family. We are so grateful to the entire team at Carnes Lake for helping make our wedding day truly perfect.
Everything we wanted!
Ms. Melton was awesome with communicating with us throughout the whole process. From touring the venue to day of our wedding. We were on a hunt for an outdoor/indoor combo while also being private and this was the perfect place for us. We held our intimate ceremony and reception there and it held the perfect amount of guests. The lake was the cherry on top for all of our photos! We received lots of compliments from our guests and a few asked for contact details for the venue. So I am certain they will get to host more special events as beautiful as it is!
Intimate, at home feel
My husband and I just got married here on September 13, 2025 but I’ve attended several weddings at this venue and I LOVE it every single time I arrive. Our wedding was the most perfect day! Carnes Lake has an intimate, at home feel! The out door space is amazing with multiple options for how you can set up for an outdoor event. The inside venue space is the intimate part, it’s small but MIGHTY! We had about 150 guests at our wedding and had plenty of room out on the patio area AND inside. They have a full kitchen with an island that’s perfect for serving space and preparation for making food! Ugh, everything about Carnes Lake helped make our day SO magical! Mrs. Fran, the owner, is so helpful and sweet & has answers to all of your questions and quickly! She was a delight to work with through our planning! Carnes Lake is just the most precious spot for your event/ wedding! We LOVED every thing about it!
