About this venue

Beautiful outdoor, riverfront wedding venue located in Salmon, Idaho. Rustic elegance, friendly atmosphere, and endless adventure opportunities! When you book the venue --- you get the whole campground! 3 full RV-Hookups, a 2-unit bathhouse, multiple dispersed camping sites, tables and chairs for up to 300 guests, white table cloths, fire-pits, dance floor, outdoor lighting and a PET FRIENDLY atmosphere. We also have overnight horse stalls available. As an addition, you can add-on a Honeymoon suite cabin with queen bed, loveseat, and mini kitchen, or pick between multiple packages custom fit to your needs. We can provide a list of local vendors to help with the ease of your planning and have various decor items on site to choose from.

    We couldn't have asked for a better experience at Cactus River Ranch. From start to finish, the team was easygoing and genuinely helpful whenever we had questions or needed something adjusted. They handled all the setup details—getting the barn lit, preparing the dance floor, setting up the stage, and arranging the smokers for our barbecue dinner—without us having to worry about a thing. The quality of their work and the value they offered were fantastic, and it showed in every part of our wedding day. The staff made us feel supported throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself. We'd absolutely recommend Cactus River Ranch to any couple looking for a venue that truly cares about making their wedding special.

    We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding than Cactus River Ranch. From the moment we booked the venue, the entire experience was incredible. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our day feel so special. One of our favorite things about the venue was how accommodating it was for our guests. There was plenty of room for camping, RVs, and everyone to comfortably stay and celebrate with us, which made the entire weekend feel like a family gathering instead of just a single-day event. The owners were wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. They were kind, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. They went above and beyond to help create a stress-free experience, allowing us to truly enjoy our wedding day. If you're looking for a venue that combines breathtaking scenery, flexibility, and amazing hospitality, we highly recommend Cactus River Ranch. We will always look back on our wedding there with the happiest memories, and we're so grateful we chose such an incredible place to begin our marriage. Yes, we have a boat launch from the property and you can access the river by foot to fish, swim, or paddle-board. There is also a nice little rock pool for kids to play in with some chairs to sit in.
Our RV Park can accommodate truck and trailer of 65 feet in length. There are 3 sites with full hook-ups and a large dry campsite that can also accommodate an RV.
You can ride your horse right across the road and hit a steep loop ride that ties into Henry's Creek, or you can ride down the road about 1.5 miles for the official Henry's Creek trailhead.
