About this venue
Our Family welcomes you to Butternut Farm Golf Club. We have been hosting weddings and events for 15 years. Our raved about food awaits you & up to 250 of your guests in our grande room with high vaulted ceilings. Our picturesque covered bridge is just the perfect spot to capture those must have New England photos. Our unique octagonal cocktail lounge overlooks Wheeler Pond where guests can relax on the terrace while watching you have the most amazing & romantic sunset pictures over the pond. We can also host your ceremony onsite with outside, outside covered and inside options. We are so proud and thankful to be constantly awarded year after year for our extremely high quality of service that makes our couples day the best it can be!.

5/5 Venue, Personnel, and Experience!
We had our wedding on 10/18/2025 at Butternut Farm Golf Club and it was absolutely perfect. The level of organization, attention to detail, and transparency that Hope Page & Kerri Landry put forth throughout the entire planning process exceeded our expectations. They showed us that they genuinely cared about us and our wedding and did not merely treat us like we were another business transaction. We began the process with Hope. She gave us our initial tour and ensured that we saw the venue on a day where it was set up for a wedding of similar size to our own. She walked us through general pricing options and answered any and all questions that we had about pricing, different packages and what was included, and venue availability. She also shared with us photo albums of previous weddings as inspiration for how the space can be utilized and walked us through the inclusive vendors available at Butternut. We loved the inclusive vendor options and ended up booking our cake baker (Cakes by Paula), DJ (Paul Granata with C Zone), and florist (Terry with Mugford’s) through Butternut. We had not seen this inclusive vendor model at any other venues that we had toured, and it was not only a selling point at the time of booking but also proved to be invaluable as these vendors were clearly well-vetted pros and working with them through Butternut was seamless and made planning so much easier. As our wedding approached, we worked with our coordinator, Kerri. We had multiple in person meetings with Kerri leading up to our wedding and she help us organize the timeline for the day, food, seating, decor and so much more. For example, we wanted to take photos at the beautiful, covered bridge on-site, but were worried about the timing. Kerri put those worries to rest immediately. She drafted an excellent plan based on our arrival. Estimated travel time, and the time of sunset to ensure that we would be able to fit in the lovely bridge shots. Butternut includes many decor pieces in their package that were really a nice touch, saving us both time and money, including centerpieces, easels, vases, a cake stand, and table numbers. Kerri worked with us to put our own spin on the included centerpiece, and we loved that we could choose any color tablecloth and napkin at no extra charge. She asked all the right questions, provided experience-based suggestions, and thought of potential issues and possible solutions for those issues as we worked through the planning process with her. She was fantastic in doing everything she could to accommodate our requests. Kerri was there on our big day making sure everything went smoothly from photos to cocktail hour, dinner service, cake cutting, and even a final private last dance. At the end of the night, Kerri and the staff made the clean up a breeze. Kerri, Hope, and all of the staff at Butternut did a fantastic job executing our vision and really made our day so perfect. Our guests raved about the food and cocktails from Butternut as well as the stunning views from the balcony overlooking the pond. We got compliments on our DJ, cake, and florals as well. We truly could not have picked a better venue for our wedding reception and are so grateful to Butternut for hosting our perfect day!
You MUST have your wedding at Butternut!!
Butternut Farm Golf Club was an absolutely gorgeous venue, with exceptional service, delicious food, reasonable pricing, and a beautiful setting. Kerri was incredible throughout the whole process, seamlessly making sure the whole day went perfectly— she even made sure I got a safety pin when my dress strap broke! Everyone from Hope, the business manager, to the waitstaff and the other vendors in the package (highly recommend the package with the photography and baker!) was extremely professional. The guests were raving about the food, and the large dance floor and huge ballroom (not to mention the reasonable pricing) made my 150 guests feel comfortable and excited. Bonus points for the balcony, where the non-dancers enjoyed great conversations overlooking the golf course pond. And what a gorgeous area in apple orchard country!! Could not have had a more perfect day. Thank you so much to everyone at Butternut for making our reception an absolute blast!!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Butternut Farm Golf Club and could not have been happier with our choice. The venue is absolutely beautiful with well-manicured grounds and a spacious indoor/outdoor area that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The staff was responsive in a timely manner to all of our questions during the planning process, helping to make things smooth and stress-free. On the wedding day itself, they were organized, professional, and attentive - everything flowed perfectly. From start to finish, Butternut Farm made sure we had the perfect day we always envisioned.
