About this venue

Breezy Point Resort has been bringing people together on the shores of Pelican Lake for more than 100 years! Founded by publisher and adventurer Captain Billy Fawcett, the resort became a Roaring ’20s getaway for stars such as Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Tom Mix and boxing legend Jack Dempsey. The historic Fawcett House remains part of the resort today. Couples love Breezy Point Resort because every celebration feels like a true destination wedding. Exchange vows beside the lake or overlooking the golf course, then celebrate in one of our inviting reception spaces. The ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests comfortably and can be divided into two sections, making it flexible for different wedding sizes and layouts. The space includes a permanent dance floor and sound system, allowing couples to transition seamlessly from dinner into their celebration. What makes Lakeside special is the setting. Couples get the convenience and comfort of an indoor ballroom while still enjoying the Up North lakefront atmosphere that makes a Breezy Point wedding unique.

Antler's Pavillion

Antlers Pavilion overlooks our Whitebirch Golf Course and offers a romantic outdoor setting with the rustic charm of Northern Minnesota.

Ceremony amenities include guest seating, a portable amplifier and speakers, one microphone, and a guest book table. Deluxe white garden chairs are also available to rent. What makes Antlers especially appealing is its setting. Rather than a lakefront backdrop, couples are surrounded by gardens, mature trees, and views of Whitebirch Golf Course, creating a relaxed yet elegant Up North atmosphere. Antlers Kitchen + Wine Bar is also located nearby, overlooking the golf course and gardens

    Antlers Pavilion was the perfect up north venue!

    We had both our ceremony and reception at Breezy Point's outdoor Antlers Pavilion space and absolutely loved our experience! We comfortably fit 100 guests for the entire event, and had great outdoor/patio space around the pavilion to hang out in throughout the night. Planning the wedding was a breeze with the help of Marisa and her clear/prompt communication, and her staff was excellent throughout the entire wedding day. We also had great reviews from our guests on the dinner buffet and bar service. I highly recommend Breezy Point if you want to have a fun, comfortable, "up north" wedding near the lakes!

No. Due to Minnesota liquor licensing requirements, outside alcohol may not be brought into our licensed event spaces. Breezy Point Resort provides all alcoholic beverage service. We offer a variety of flexible options, including hosted bars, cash bars, drink tickets, keg beer, bar packages, and customized beverage selections
Yes! Complimentary parking is available throughout Breezy Point Resort for wedding guests. For added convenience, our complimentary resort shuttle can also transport guests between Breezy Point Resort lodging, ceremony, reception, and other resort locations—making it easy for everyone to enjoy the celebration without worrying about driving around the property.
Yes! Breezy Point Resort offers handicap-accessible facilities, including accessible parking and accessible routes to many of our lodging and event areas. If you or one of your guests has specific mobility or accessibility needs, please let your Group Sales Manager know in advance. We’ll help coordinate the most convenient lodging, ceremony and reception locations, parking, and transportation options for your wedding weekend.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date and event space. Lodging cancellation policies vary based on accommodation type and season. Your Group Sales Manager will provide the applicable cancellation terms with your wedding contract and room block information.
Wedding or event insurance is not currently required by Breezy Point Resort. However, couples may choose to purchase wedding insurance for additional protection against certain unexpected circumstances, cancellations, or other covered losses. We recommend reviewing your individual needs with your insurance provider.
We'll establish a weather contingency plan with you ahead of time. That's particularly important for outdoor ceremonies so everyone knows the plan well before guests arrive.
Your proposal and contract will outline the included venue, food and beverage, bar, lodging, ceremony, and other services. We'll work with you throughout the process so there are no surprises as your plans develop.
Yes. We can provide recommendations for photographers, DJs, florists, officiants, and other wedding professionals who are familiar with the area and, in many cases, with Breezy Point Resort.
A private wedding planner isn't required, but many couples choose one for additional day-of coordination. Your Breezy Point contact will coordinate the resort portions of your event with you.
Guests can enjoy golf, boating, fishing, lake activities, beaches, dining, swimming, biking, and simply relaxing at the resort. This is why many couples encourage guests to make a vacation out of their wedding weekend.

Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and the required non-refundable deposit has been received. Until then, event space may remain available to other groups.
