About this venue
Since the Garden opened its doors in 1976, it has become the emerald jewel in the crown of Atlanta culture. The Garden is an ever-evolving destination where horticulturally-minded, nature-inspired, and fun-seeking families come together to feel human again. Renowned plant collections, beautiful displays and spectacular exhibitions make the Atlanta Botanical Garden the loveliest place in the city to visit. An urban oasis in the heart of Midtown, the Garden includes 30 acres of outdoor gardens, an award-winning Children’s Garden, the serene Storza Woods highlighted by a unique Canopy Walk, and the picturesque Skyline Garden.

Step into romance at the Rose Garden,
Renovated in 2018, the Rose Garden is the definition of romance and the Garden's most popular ceremony site. Imagine bridal white set in dazzling contrast to the brightly-hued roses and the brilliant green of the lawn. Peak bloom is May/June and September/October, and this garden is stunning throughout the summer.

Day Hall
Transform Day Hall into your dream reception space
Envision filling Day Hall, the Garden's largest reception space, with family and friends for a lavish banquet or reception. This high-ceilinged ballroom offers picturesque floor-to-ceiling windows with elegant, hand-crafted lighting above. The adaptable space may be designed in a multitude of ways by adding a dance floor, lounge or stage. Guests may spill out onto the adjacent Lanier Terrace, Levy Parterre, and Mediterranean-influenced Cox Courtyard.

Experience the seamless blend of classical architecture and contemporary design in Mershon Hall,
Classical architecture is seamlessly integrated with contemporary interior design in this wonderful reception area. It features a soft color scheme, elegant lighting and a built-in-granite credenza that is perfect for displaying photos or serving your special cake. Also perfect for seated lectures or standing business parties, Mershon Hall offers several sets of double Palladian doors that fill the space with natural light and allow guests to move easily.

Japanese Garden
Imagine your intimate ceremony surrounded by the evergreen beauty of the Japanese Garden.
Small but exquisite, the Japanese Garden is the oldest "room" in the Garden, begun in Piedmont Park in the 1960s before the Atlanta Botanical Garden was chartered. Irises and azaleas bloom in spring, maples change color and drop their leaves in the fall, but most plants in the Japanese Garden are evergreen; color is used sparingly to highlight seasonal change since reverence of nature is the guiding philosophy in a Japanese garden.

Trustees Garden
Host your smaller gatherings among classical pavilions and boxwoods.
Accessible via the Flower Bridge from the Southern Seasons Garden, the Trustees Garden is a walled "secret" garden defined by corner classical pavilions, with formal dwarf boxwoods edgings around the flower beds. A beautiful balustrade winds up the entrance, providing a gorgeous vista over the Earth Goddess and the Cascades Garden.
