The Wimbish House sits in a prominent Midtown location at the intersection of Peachtree and 14th streets, making The Wimbish House an impressive, easy-to-find destination with close proximity to hotels, parking facilities, and public transportation. Designed in the eclectic French Renaissance Revival, or Chateau-esque, style, this lovely Victorian-era home is distinguished by steep gables, intricate detailing, and massive stone masonry ornamentation. Located at 1150 Peachtree Street and now a beloved Midtown icon, The Wimbish House is lovingly restored and is designated a national, state and city landmark. The Wimbish House has an extensive list of Approved Caterers to choose from that will provide food, servers, bartenders, and rentals, and is a bring your alcohol venue, saving couples from costly bar packages and minimums. Ballroom

Designed in the eclectic French Renaissance Revival, or Chateau-esque, style, this lovely Victorian-era home is distinguished by steep gables, intricate detailing, and massive stone masonry ornamentation.

The Wimbish House can accommodate up to 150 people for ceremony and reception if you wish to have reception seating all in the ballroom. Otherwise, we can accommodate up to 175 with reception seating throughout the house. We can accommodate up to 250 for reception only, 200 seated for ceremony, but cannot seat more than 150 guests at tables in one room at one time. We are a house with a ballroom attached – there are a variety of possible seating options depending on how you are using the venue.

    We had our wedding at the Wimbish House in April of 2024 and it was the most spectacular day of our lives! The venue itself is so lovely and well located in the city (near plenty of activity of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment for guests within walking distance) and does not require a lot of work to make it beautiful (the ballroom and parlors are exquisite). Karin was our wedding coordinator and she made the entire process easy and stress-free. She helped us with everything and made sure nothing slipped by during the planning. The staff is all incredible and they have such great connections with other vendors (every vendor we hired said they already had such great memories of events they worked at Wimbish and I can see why!). You cannot go wrong booking this venue!
