The best day!

Kimball hall was great to work with and the food was SO GOOD. Great pricing and location Only complaint I heard from guests is lack of bathrooms/ lines to wait. Since there are only 2 downstairs and 1 upstairs. I had 95 guests

Beautiful Venue, Misleading package

Kimball hall was beautiful. My husband and I loved it when we toured, and instantly could see ourselves getting married there. The venue itself is set up well, and we got some great pictures. The team was also kind and helpful for the most part. If we did it over again, we would probably book another venue. My biggest issue with them is that the marketing of an "all-inclusive" package is misleading. Really it just includes food, drinks, and tables. All decor items are extra, including linens, easels, card boxes, etc. It felt a lot like I was being nickel and dimed which was frustrating at times. We paid extra to have LaMarca at the bar, and they didn't have it. The first customer service rep to respond said their investigation found that we did have it (accusing myself and my coordinator of lying). Thankfully they involved someone higher up and we were refunded some. The other annoying thing is that you can only access the venue 6 hours before the ceremony. That means if your ceremony is at 6pm, you can't really get ready at the venue.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, offering so many stunning backdrops for portraits throughout the day. From the natural scenery to the thoughtfully maintained spaces, everything feels intentional and effortlessly photogenic. What I love most is how the venue blends a cozy, historic feel with elegance and charm. It creates such a warm, inviting atmosphere while still feeling refined — the kind of space that elevates a wedding day without ever feeling overwhelming. The staff are always wonderful to work with, and that truly makes a difference. Having a team that is organized, kind, and attentive helps the entire day run smoothly for both vendors and couples. They were a great, affordable venue overall. One of my top priorities when searching was having food and drinks included, and they delivered on that. They also offer so many beautiful spots for photos, which was such a bonus on our wedding day! They were also fairly responsive via email throughout the process, which I appreciated. I did take a couple of points off (I would have rated it a 3.5 if that were an option) for a few reasons. While they offer a decent variety of food, many options come with an upcharge. I especially wish there had been at least one beef entrée (not a sandwich) included without an additional fee. There was also an unexpected $500 outside coordination fee that wasn’t mentioned until after I had signed the contract, and I was still required to pay it even though it was said to be “new.” Communication became more difficult at times—they rarely answered the phone, and I occasionally had to call one of their sister venues just to speak with someone. Lastly, I do wish they provided basic tablecloths—while I understand their approach of allowing couples to choose their own colors, having simple white linens available would be very helpful. Overall, a beautiful and budget-friendly venue, just with a few details I wish had been handled differently.

Being a wedding photographer in the area, there is just something so special about Kimball Hall. The staff is wonderful to work with, rain or shine there are spots to capture those special moments and it truly is a wonderful place to get married. I really can't say enough amazing things about this venue!
