Welcome to Anthem STORIES, a one-of-a-kind event experience in the heart of downtown Waco. Our venue offers in-house dining & beverage options, stunning rental amenities, and a vintage urban aesthetic that is sure to set the stage for a memorable experience. This thoughtfully restored 20th century space is the perfect setting to celebrate all of life’s special events with anywhere between 20-500 of your closest friends and family.     Perfect Reception Venue

    Anthem STORIES is the perfect reception venue! From the first walkthrough, the staff was easy to work with, communicative, and answered all of our questions. Having the rentals, catering, bar, and table sets all through the venue made our lives infinitely easier. They listened to all our requests and did the best to make our day literally perfect. They even cleaned up all our decorations from the dinner during the dancing, so our families were just able to pack up and go home rather than clean. I cannot say enough good things about Anthem. First: the space itself is absolutely beautiful. They were able to set everything up exactly how we wanted and were clear about what they had and what we could use. We only needed minimal decorations because everything was so gorgeous. Second, the food was fantastic. My husband has celiac, and they were able to make everything gluten-free for him, which was so deeply appreciated. Their kitchen was incredibly helpful and convenient. Finally, our favorite part of the wedding was the coffee hour!!! They opened up their coffee bar for the first half of the night, and the bar for the second half. The coffee was fantastic, and I was so glad we had it. Anthem is great!

Absolutely! We offer complimentary parking that is conveniently located in a parking lot directly behind our venue. This lot has over 90 parking spaces for you and your guests, as available.

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing in any outside food or beverages. Our Anthem STORIES team offers an all-inclusive culinary experience with extensive dining and beverage options to cater to your every need. With our three on-site commercial grade kitchens and a professional, chef-driven staff, you can feel confident that your food will be fresh and flavorful!
Due to the Historic Preservation Guidelines for this State Of Texas Historic Landmark Property, we do everything in our power to keep our thoughtfully restored space in immaculate condition for many years to come! We ask that you refrain from using the following items - nails, staples, markings, to any portion of the building. Please practice caution when using command strips/hooks. Open flames, cold spark machines, and other pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited inside Anthem STORIES. Silly string, glitter, confetti, and rice will not be permitted inside or outside Anthem STORIES. We do allow bubbles and sparklers outside the building.
