Acadia Bay Inn

Lovely inn owned by a young friendly married couple. Very warm and hospitable, they were approachable! The space was clean and inviting, with a welcome sign for new guests 💜 the only feedback I’d give is breakfast, we had a wonderful quiche and muffins but the sausage skillet was a bit bland. All in all a wonderful experience with the best view. Keep in mind this location is 45 minutes from Acadia, we didn’t care as it was a lot more quiet than Barharbor which we loved. It felt like visiting a family member. Would recommend!

Acadia Bay Inn was the perfect haven and home base for our first trip to Maine and Acadia. Several incredible, peaceful spots are tucked around the property to sit back and watch the water. On top of the views, add in the spacious cozy room, tasty breakfasts (including accommodations for my partner’s gluten free needs), and thoughtful hospitality (as well as great recs for the area). Don’t miss this special spot, or the nighttime balcony view of the Milky Way above the harbor.

Acadia Bay Inn exceeded expectations in every capacity. The entire Inn is incredibly clean and beautifully maintained. My fiance and I chose Acadia Bay Inn as we prepared for our wedding day and we didn’t regret it. The room (Teaberry) we chose was jaw dropping- the second we walked in, it was more than we could have dreamed of. We were woken up by peace, quiet and the beautiful Maine sunrise (once we opened up the blinds). As you walk down the stairs for breakfast, you can smell Matthew’s deliciously self crafted breakfast, and are greeted at your table by Haylee and her joyful energy. I can not recommend enough, sitting outside on their back deck for breakfast, as you are able to smell the fresh Maine air, observe the beautiful humming birds fly amongst the trees, and watch the waves roll in. I can not rave enough about the owners, Matthew and Haylee, they are absolutely wonderful people, and excellent owners. They were extremely helpful and accommodating in every way possible, making our special day, feel even more special (a hard thing to do on such a stressful day). My now wife and I visit Maine annually, and Acadia Bay Inn will become one of our annual stops, because visiting Maine without stopping here would be a regret. I must add that, Melanie, one of the inn keepers, was SO incredible and made the check-in process absolutely seamless. While my review may seem good, the words I’ve used are no match for the beautiful Acadia Bay Inn!

The most pleasant stay! Thank you Matthew and Hilary for an enjoyable breakfast and a lovely place to stay. We will be back.
