    Exceptional Wedding Planner

As a wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of working with many wedding planners, and I can confidently say that Ms. Lisa is one of the best in the industry! She is truly amazing at what she does. Ms. Lisa's communication skills are exceptional. She keeps everyone informed and ensures that all details are perfectly coordinated. Her ability to create and manage the timeline was incredibly helpful, allowing me to focus on capturing beautiful moments without any worries. Working alongside Ms. Lisa, I saw firsthand how dedicated she is to her clients. She listens to their vision and brings it to life with creativity and precision. Her calm and organized approach on the wedding day ensures everything runs smoothly, making the entire experience enjoyable for everyone involved. I highly recommend Ms. Lisa to any couple looking for a wedding planner who will make their special day flawless and memorable. She is a true professional and a joy to work with. - Dessie Crotchett Owner of Brandess Media (Wedding Photography)

If you’re thinking about booking Lisa…DO IT!

Lisa did a great job with our wedding. We were not organized at all and she whipped us into shape and gave us the best possible day ever! We had no worries about the reception while we had our church wedding. All we had to do was enjoy our wedding! Her communication was great, she is truly a wonder!

    Amazing

Lisa went above and beyond to build a package that worked within our budget. She was so integral to the success of the big day and it felt like it went off without a hitch. She was also a major support for me in that last month when pressure from family started building and things got a little intense. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

    Outstanding Planner

I have worked with Lisa for years in the event business. She is professional, thorough with details and her clients adore her. Having a flower shop, I deal with many vendors, planners and couples. Lisa is always a pleasure to coordinate with as she is well connected in the community, creative and very in tune with her couple's wishes. Highly recommend Tampa Bay Social and Lisa for weddings and events.

Yes, I do. For all suppliers (local and global), I have an extensive list of preferred vendors.
I have been a planner for 25 years. I have planned weddings, corporate events, sales summits, advisory boards, early career trainings, C-suite trainings and board meetings for corporate C-suite level management. I have a lot of great contacts throughout the globe, especially in the Tampa and the State of Florida.
I have had a LOT of inquiries regarding micro and or "pop up" type weddings recently. Yes, I will plan them if I have the availability! Recently, on 2 occasions, I was given less than a week to plan and the day was amazing! If we have the availability, we are happy to assist, however, please contact me for rates as they will be higher than the rates displayed
(1) Hire a photographer, it's worth it to capture the day, even if it's just the 2 of you. (2) As you are building the budget, ensure when you are discussing costs with vendors you ask about service charges and taxes. (3) Have your headcount prior to touring venues (4) I always tell the couples I work with not to sweat the small stuff, have an open mind to pivot if necessary! (5) If the venue sales team is not truly excited for you from the moment you meet them, move on. Their customer service level sets the tone for all other departments at the venue. (6) Most importantly, on your wedding day BREATHE, take it all in and enjoy!
Zola top Trends: Phone guestbooks, Vintage matchbook favors, Vintage wedding cake, Moissanite Rings and Statement sleeves on the wedding dress. Other Recent Trends: COLOR!! Both to the wedding dress (lace and under gown silouhette) and bridesmaids dresses, blurry black and white photos, custom dance floors, setting up life insurance policies or adding these to your registry and private last dance. One of my faves: ordering 2-tiered wedding cake for Bride/Groom only, then a standard white sheet cake from Sam's/Costco to serve guests.....Happy Planning!

Good rule of thumb is you should tip ALL vendors for great service, to include your Planner. 15-20% is a good amount
We have seen an uptick in Micro Weddings since January 2023. Most Planners have 6-12 months to plan for day of, however we only have 1-2 months (or less) if that to plan for a Micro wedding. We are totally focusing full time on a quick turn wedding with the same logistics as any other package.
We charge a $300 non refundable deposit. That is due at time of contract signing - once you confirm you would like to hire Tampa Bay Social, we give you 30 days to return the contract. Also, the deposit holds your spot and guarantees we will not take on any other business for your special date. We then charge $500 once we have met with and conducted a day of discovery to site all of your venues. A 3rd payment in the amount we discuss will be due at your 30 day walk thru and the final payment will be due at your Rehearsal.
I work closely with all vendors that are a part of your wonderful day to ensure back up plans are in place. While no one can predict a situation and unfortunately there are times when emergencies such as hurricanes or other weather related events, venue damage, etc. happens, be assured that everyone on your team will work tirelessly to get through this. In the unlikely event that your date would have to change due to these circumstances, the vendors typically work with you for a future date. IF YOU ARE READING THROUGH MY FAQ's TO HELP YOU AS A MENTORING TOOL, PLEASE ASK EVERY VENDOR YOU PLAN TO HIRE FOR THEIR EMERGENCY PLAN.
I look to Zola for this information - I stayed plugged into their blogs, newsletters and journals. I attend large wedding shows annually, as well as an annual conference specifically for Wedding Planners (typically held in New Orleans or Las Vegas due to the number of attendees and vendors). I am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and we have many education opportunities, as well as site visit opportunities. I am a graduate of Kelly Mortimers LINK Masterclass which focuses on all things weddings. I've been a part of her learning plan since I opened Tampa Bay Social.
We like to spoil Grooms too!!! We offer Groom Mentoring and Pampering suggestions, as well as onsite support strictly for the Groom and his party. Groom support day of is available for a negotiated fee and is managed by Frank Palumbo (my husband). References are available upon request
We pride ourselves in our Timeline! We have created a timeline that is extremely easy to follow and is sharable with all vendors and whomever else you need to provide this level of detail to. We are available to manage just your timeline, please contact us for additional information and costs.
Here are a few tips regarding writing vows.... (if you want additional support in the area and are still looking for an Officiant, we work with Brian Jones from Tampa Bay Sensational Ceremonies) Reflect on Your Relationship - Think about your journey together. Consider the qualities you love most about your partner. Set the Tone - Make sure the tone matches the overall vibe of your wedding. Be Personal and Specific Keep It Concise: Aim for about 1-2 minutes in length. Practice out loud Start Early: Give yourself plenty of time to write and revise your vows. Be Honest: Speak from the heart and be genuine in your words.

I opened Tampa Bay Social, LLC in January of 2022 after working an extremely rewarding 27 year career in Corporate America. It was a fantastic decision, and I have not looked back :)
Yes, we have both and I am happy to provide that information to you during our planning calls. IMPORTANT TIP: We do not carry wedding insurance for you as a couple, and we do not carry insurance for other vendors or venues. Our insurance is solely for Lisa as Founder of Tampa Bay Social, LLC.
We take on no more than 12 weddings annually as we want to ensure our couples receive the best experience possible.
We planned an outdoor lakeside wedding with a naturist design in a very small town in Florida (Welaka).... Everything had to be ordered for the wedding - tents, chairs, tables, weather back up plan, etc. It was a fantastic day
To date we have only had an issue with a vendor hired by one of our couples. They delivered the incorrect chairs for an outdoor wedding; however, they provided a much more expensive chair due to the snafu. We stay in constant contact with our vendors to have your most special day run a smoothly as possible. IMPORTANT TIP: It is more efficient to hire the vendors your Planner has dealt with in the past as they all have been vetted and unless extreme emergency happens there are typically no snafus. IMPORTANT TIP: If you hire all vendors, your Planner is NOT responsible for their snafus.
Yes, we can provide upon request
I have photos on Zola and my website - Tampa Bay Social, LLC. If you require additional photos, you will need to contact the couple for a reference and request they allow you to peruse their wedding day photos.
Here on Zola or on my website - Tampa Bay Social, LLC. I also have several others upon request.
No we do not mandate the use of our vendors. However, please note we have screened our Preferred Vendors, and they consistently provide excellent service. IMPORTANT TIP: If you hire your own vendors, we are certainly happy to work with them. There are guidelines we must follow and we will look to you to ensure our expectations are relayed to the vendors you hire. IMPORTANT TIP: If you choose to use other vendors vs. the team assembled by the Planner, if there are any snafus, your Planner is not responsible.
We provide a preliminary contract and projected cost estimate just after our initial planning call. We require a $300 non-refundable deposit upon contract signing.
Here’s a glimpse into how I typically handle problems: Clarify the Problem Analyze the Information Generate Solutions: Based on the analysis, I brainstorm multiple potential solutions. Creativity is key here—I try to think outside the box and come up with innovative approaches. Evaluate and Choose: Each solution is evaluated for feasibility, potential impact, and risks. I compare the pros and cons to help decide the best course of action. Implement and Test Review and Iterate In essence, my style is a blend of systematic reasoning and creative thinking, always aimed at finding the most effective and efficient solution.
Mostly I stick to a black dress or black skirt with colorful top. I do check in with the venue to see what they wear and sometimes I will opt to mimic their colors and style.
We will take bookings up to 18 months in advance
Clarify what level of support you need and establish a budget. Research planners whose style, experience, and reviews resonate with your vision. Next is scheduling consultations, which are often complimentary and give you a chance to share your ideas - bring all your questions to the call. After this conversation, ask for a proposal. PAY attention to what’s included and ask follow up questions. Choose the planner who feels like the best fit and ask for a contract. Review this thoroughly as it is a legal doc. To officially secure your date, you pay a non‑refundable retainer. From there, the planning journey truly begins
I’m open to creating an à la carte plan to match your vision. Our custom service offerings start at $1,500, and from there we can build a package that reflects exactly what you need for your wedding day. PLEASE NOTE: Our pricing already has a discount for being a ZOLA client baked in.
