Hi! I'm Samm! 👋 gemma&co events is a Tampa-St Pete based wedding and event planning studio, giving: thoughtful details, fresh concepts, and celebrations that feel deeply personal. Being in the wedding industry for the last 10+ years, hospitality drives me to my core. While my career has taken me behind the scenes with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hilton, and Marriott, weddings have always been my constant and my WHY.

From the first hello to the last dance, you’ll work directly with me ...no passing the mic. That consistency allows me to truly understand your vision and priorities, so together we can create a day that feels authentic and as the girls say—SO you! Let’s start planning!

Based in Tampa/St. Pete (but always ready to travel by car or plane, we got you!), we bring our signature style, intentional details, and seamless coordination packed in our luggage. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding planner than Samm. From start to finish, she was so genuine, kind, and incredibly detail-oriented. Every part of the planning process felt seamless because she was always on top of everything. On our wedding day, everything ran so smoothly—no hiccups, no stress, just pure enjoyment. Samm was also extremely responsive the entire time, which made such a difference. Not only did we love her, but our family and guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing she was. If you’re getting married in Tampa, Samm is an absolute must!

The best!!
I can’t recommend Samm enough. While she was actually one of my bridesmaids, she also happens to be an incredible wedding planner, and I was lucky enough to benefit from her expertise throughout my entire planning process. She went on venue tours with me, helped me think through how my vision would actually come to life in each space, and patiently answered the millions of questions that come up when you’re planning a wedding. She has such a great eye for detail and design, but what I appreciated most was how thoughtful and practical she was when helping me make decisions. Even though she wasn’t officially my planner, she made the entire process feel less overwhelming and so much more fun. Any couple would be incredibly lucky to have her guiding them through their wedding planning. She truly cares about making each wedding special and personal.

I don’t know where to begin. I truly can’t recommend Samm enough. I had her as my day of coordinator but she really went above and beyond, it felt like she was my whole wedding planner. She listens to your ideas and brings them to life. The day of the wedding was smooth as could be I didn’t lift a finger or worry about a thing. She took the day I’ve dreamt of since I was a child and made it seamless. I can’t imagine ever having a wedding without her by my side!!

Best wedding planner in Tampa Bay!
Samm was amazing to work with while planning our wedding. She didn’t miss a single detail and was always there to help with anything we needed. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and such a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t recommend her more!!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Samm. From the very beginning, she answered every single question with patience, clarity, and genuine care. On the wedding day itself, I didn’t have to think about anything and that is the greatest gift you can give a bride. I knew without a doubt that she had everything covered. She handled every detail seamlessly, kept everything running smoothly, and did it all with such calm confidence. Our guests are still raving about how incredible she was and how smoothly the day went because of her!! You could truly feel how much she cared about our wedding and about us, and for that, I am forever grateful. If you’re considering hiring her, do it because she will treat your day like it’s the most important one in the world!!

Partial planning is for couples who want guidance throughout the planning process. We jump in upon booking, to support vendor selection, logistics, and overall direction. Coordination (often called “month-of”) begins about (6) weeks before your wedding, where we step in to finalize details, confirm with vendors, and execute your day seamlessly. What this means for you: You can choose the level of support that fits where you are in planning.

We do both! While logistics are the backbone of a seamless event, we also guide design elements like layout, flow, and cohesive details based on your vision and aesthetic. We are more involved with the design process in our Partial Planning Package.

Yes! While we’re based in Tampa / St. Pete, we love any excuse to hop in a car or on a plane for our couples. *Travel fees to be applied.

A signed contract and 25% non-refundable retainer officially secures your date. The remaining balance is split into scheduled payments leading up to your wedding. The remaining balance is due (30) days prior to your wedding date.

Our gemma & co process is designed to feel organized but not overwhelming. We start with a Kickoff Call to align on vision and priorities, then guide you through planning, vendor coordination, and design. As we get closer, we shift into final details, timelines, and full execution. Each package includes: Vendor Communication, at minimum (30) days out. Vendor Management, Day-of Timeline Creation Rehearsal Practice Decor Set-Up Day-of Coordination Boxed Breakdown

We primarily communicate via email with scheduled calls and key check-ins throughout the process. We’re always here to guide, answer questions, and keep things moving forward. You will always know the next step to come.

Yes! For partial planning clients, we assist with venue research, recommendations, and tours to help you find the perfect fit.

Once your contract is signed and retainer is received, you’ll receive your onboarding materials along with next steps. Month-Of+ Package: We check-in every couple months leading up to our Kickoff Call (6) Weeks Prior. This ensures you are staying on track during your journey, while we are on the side-lines cheering you on. Partial Planning: We schedule your kickoff call immediately and begin the planning process. The initial steps is to evaluate where you are at in your journey and the priorities for lift off.
