We are Rob & M, a down to earth, fearless and loving photography couple (now husband & wife - since Aug 2020 yaaay!!) who make VILD Photography. Vild is the Swedish word for 'wild' and represents everything we stand for. We love the wild scenery that surrounds us, our wild couples and their wild spirits! After having spent three years being in a long distance relationship (flying back and forth between USA and Sweden to see each other) we feel fortunate to finally be at a point of our lives where we can pursue our lives greatest passions together - capturing beautiful moments in outstanding scenery.

Rob and M from VILD Photography were amazing! They were very responsive to our questions and timely with their communication. We couldn't have asked for anything better - our pictures perfectly captured our day, they are exceptional! Rob and M worked so well with our other vendors, made sure everything went smoothly, and prioritized what we wanted to be captured. We are so thankful we hired them!

We live in Germany, and we chose Tahoe as our wedding location. Coordinating with vendors 6000 miles away can be, unsurprisingly, a bit complicated. Thankfully, Rob and M did not add to this complication. Nay, they in fact removed any complication. They are so good at what they do, that a single phone call, a few emails, and an online form was enough for them to know exactly what we wanted and to absolutely nail it. Their quick and thoughtful responses made it feel like there was no distance or time difference between us. The actual wedding day was smooth as can be, and they both took all of our myriad requests in stride. From assisting us with our DIY videography setup to requesting a specific song from the band (with whom they happened to be friends), they were so accommodating and had a vested interest in making this the best day possible for us. Our wedding was just as much a celebration of our community as our relationship (that’s why you get everyone together, isn’t it?), so we asked Vild to focus on taking photos that our guests would enjoy as well. They more than understood the assignment, as evidenced by the reception photos that beautifully convey motion and emotion all at once. Both Rob and M have such a knack for making what is already fun seem even more convivial. They were absolutely all over the place, capturing practically every moment being simultaneously unintrusive. Throughout the experience, it was very clear that they know how important and special this day and experience is for their clients. Nothing exemplified this more than the fact that they had a preview gallery ready for us the very next day (a Saturday no less). As amateur photographers, we know how much effort goes into poring through thousands of photos in order to find the few great photos that exist in there, so what they did was nothing short of wizardry. Even in this small preview gallery, we could identify dozens of photos worthy of hanging as prints on our walls, as they are perfect and creative compositions. This artistry is exactly why we chose Vild in the first place, and we are so thrilled with the results. Overall, our experience with Rob and M was incredible and we cannot recommend them enough. The only regret we have is that we don't live in the Tahoe area to have the opportunity to get to know these two more and make friends! If you are going to splurge on a vendor, do it with Vild. At the end of the day, your wedding photos will be much sweeter after a year than that piece of freezer-burned wedding cake, and they’ll certainly outlast it. Stop looking around and book Vild now!

We had an AMAZING team of vendors for our wedding day but Rob and M with Vild Photography were our favorites! They were an amazing duo who are very familiar with the Lake Tahoe area, as well as the wedding industry as a whole. They combined our vision and requests with their expertise and knowledge of the area, resulting in STUNNING pictures. Our videographer was saying "wait do that again!" for all their suggested poses so she could catch them as well- they really have an eye for what will look good! They are an amazing duo and if you hear Rob say "wait I have another idea" with a certain look in his eye- just do it! They always turn our amazing. If you're still considering photographers, let me save you the time, choose Vild!

M and Rob of Vild were absolutely wonderful. They not only provided high quality photos of our wedding, but they were so easy to work with and so quick to respond to my questions. They took all the stress out of timing our intimate wedding in South Lake and knew how to get gorgeous shots of our entire wedding from beginning to end. Would 10/10 recommend!
