Uday Sripathi

My name is Uday Sripathi. I am a Memphis based Wedding & Portrait Photographer. Born and brought up in India, I relocated to Memphis, Tennessee many years ago and it is my home now. With more than 15 years of experience in the Media & Entertainment industry, I understand what makes great visuals. Having produced and directed documentaries, news, films and shows for NBC News, Discovery, MTV, PBS, CNN, FedEx etc, I am passionate about all forms of visual media including Photography.

My goal is to show the beauty, grace and strength of people and what motivates me and pushes me to do my best is the thought that my work can make someone very happy, not for a moment or a few days, but they can treasure their photographs for their entire lives and sometimes a few generations down!

    Wonderful Wedding Photographer and Videographer

    It is always a pleasure to work with Uday! He is always on time and shows up ready to make my couples dreams come true. He is an innovative with both videography and photography.     Fantastic photographer!

    What a wonderful experience!! He is a super nice guy that takes some of the best pictures I’ve ever seen. He was very patient, and took a lot of photos for each look we wanted for the wedding. 5 stars in my book!!

We do not deliver every image that we shoot. There are many images that are missed focus shots, out of focus, test shots, repeat and duplicate shots (images shot in continuous mode), images that make show subjects in unflattering poses or expressions that dilute the images as a whole. The minimum amount of photos that you will receive will depend on the package you book.
That will be me. Uday Sripathi. Depending on the package you book, there might be additional photographer/s, assistants who will accompany me for the shoot. There might be a change of photographer at the last minute due to any unforeseen situation like health emergencies, accident etc.
Yes we do. We provide different packages to suit your needs.
Yes, we do not discriminate in any types of weddings or events. If you are not comfortable in English as a primary language, we will ensure that one of our assistants/team members will be someone who can speak your language.
Yes definitely. Even though our website will highlight the best from each wedding that we photograph, we will be glad to provide you links to full albums.
I have shot in all times of venues and situations and the benefit of being a professional is the ability to adapt to any situation, whether it be about lighting, space or weather. We use latest high quality lenses that are able to shoot in extreme low light conditions and we might also use external lights depending on the need.
We are flexible. We do not pack up as soon as the time ends but will check with you first to make sure that you want us to stay back to cover the extra time. We will then charge you the rates specified in the contract in 1 hour increments.
We typically deliver anywhere from 20-50 images per 2-hour engagement shoot and for a wedding, we typically deliver 45 images per hour. The number of images might reduce or increase based on the number of events and activities on your wedding day.
We haven’t lost any images from any wedding due to the extreme care and steps we take shooting a wedding. We shoot on two storage cards simultaneously which provides a backup during the shoot. After the shoot, we download the photos to multiple hard drives and also store them in an online storage service.
