Stacie McChesney is a destination wedding photographer based in Park City, Utah. She provides a bespoke experience for the intentional couple, specializing in refined storytelling in harmony with the landscape. Wedding photography that feels genuine and is deeply personal.

I've photographed hundreds of weddings over the last 16 years. I love what I do, I love my couples, and I love the art of telling a story through photographs. Sometimes that means quietly allowing a moment to unfold for the truest emotions and other times providing a little direction makes all the difference. A few things about me: I always start my day outside with a delicious cup of coffee. I'm obsessed with dogs. In my free time I'm hiking in the mountains. I love to travel. On wedding days, I always arrive early and well prepared, I'm calm but not hesitant to direct a crowd, and my priority is making sure you have an amazing day.

Stacie is the BEST of the BEST!!
There are wedding photographers and then there’s Stacie. I’ve never been so impressed by someone who can see the perfect shot and instruct my less-than-photogenic husband and I to create the photo. Her calm presence made us both feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Stacie was so sweet throughout the entire process and really wanted to understand our story first, which is a direct result of our final photos! She was able to effortlessly capture our personality and the energy of the day in the best shot. In addition to being a master photographer, she was able to put everyone involved in the photos at ease to facilitate meaningful moments. She was also quick to pivot in last minute scenarios (i.e. my dad and I had to switch locations for our first look and Stacie figured it out in the blink of an eye & it was PERFECT!). She was a great communicator and offered so much great advice in not only picking a videographer but also finalizing our grand exit; she was direct in what she felt comfortable shooting and what she recommended for the lighting, etc. If Stacie is available, book her immediately. She’s quick to communicate, gave us great recommendations for our shot list, and made sure our wants and desires came first. She captured all our top priority shots and then some! What also blew us away was her talent to be everywhere to capture the moment but also remain in the background and unnoticeable. We are obsessed with EVERY SINGLE ONE of our photos and can’t recommend her enough!

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible of a job Stacie did for our engagement & wedding photos! Not only is she extremely talented and professional when it comes to photography, she is also an incredible person inside and out. My husband and I are somewhat shy when it comes to having our pictures taken but Stacie made us feel comfortable and confident. Your wedding photos are something you’ll cherish forever, so it was important to me and my husband that we prioritized a good photographer and Stacie far exceeded that expectation. We have so many amazing photos of not only just ourselves but everyone at our wedding which is special to us. We highly recommend Stacie with Vitae Weddings!!

Absolutely Incredible from Start to Finish
Oh my gosh, we have no words. Stacie McChesney (Vitae Weddings) was the perfect photographer for our special day and we were overjoyed with our experience. Do yourselves a favor and book her immediately. From the moment Stacie stepped in the room, she put both of us at ease. Her energy immediately put us in a relaxed mindset, and that allowed us to just be together, have fun, and be present with each other and our loved ones. She had a clear plan of what/where to shoot but also reacted whenever inspiration unexpectedly struck. Stacie were equal parts guide, cheerleader, and secret agent. We're so grateful to have had our dedicated time for portraits with her. She even snuck us away at one point to get golden hour sunset pictures! The extra care she took with us was outstanding. During the reception, she was unobtrusive while capturing amazing moments. Not only was she amazing to us, but also our guests. An unexpected surprise was she gave us a fully edited sneak peek within two days of the event! The small sample alone is incredible. Her style is unlike any other wedding photographs we've seen--it's like they could be in a magazine editorial! We cannot wait to see the rest of the images she captured. Stacie was fantastic to work with leading up to, during, and after the big event. We're thrilled that she was our photographer.

The perfect photo experience
Stacie was genuinely invested in capturing the highest-quality photos of our ceremony. What we loved most about our time with Stacie was the attention to detail and the ability to capture the perfect blend of posed and candid photos. With how many decisions there are to make when planning a wedding, let me help you make your life a little bit simpler- just choose Stacie. I had a few photographers that I had planned to interview, but after meeting Stacie I canceled the rest of my interviews. She’s so sweet and easy to connect with, and her energy is calm and grounded- just the kind of person you’ll want around you on your wedding day. It was a no-brainer to follow my intuition and book with her and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She went above and beyond in helping us logistically and her photos are literally stunning. It’s actually a problem because I can’t figure out which photos to print because there are too many gems to choose from. I can’t emphasize enough just how beautiful her photos are- they have an ethereal quality to them, they make you feel like you’re really there in the moment rather than just being a photograph. She’s the best of the best, you’ll make your life so much easier by choosing her. Stacie, I love you and thank you for everything!!!!
