My name is Juliun Starks, and I'm a visual storyteller through the medium of photography. As the founder of Skratspaper, I work with clients to create images that represent the fullness and beauty of the most precious parts of their lives. My specialty is in capturing the soul of my subjects in portraits and the love of couples in wedding or engagement shoots.

Capturing the essence of a moment, the depth of a bond, or the impact of an emotion through photography has always been my passion. Before starting Skratspaper, I worked as a photographer for a STEM high school--capturing the excitement, enthusiasm, and energy of students as they delved into learning at school-based events. (My favorite event to document was the project learning-based "NASA Hunch" program, where students delve into designing prototypes and software for use in space exploration.) Today, I'm thrilled to continue documenting the same stories of triumph, passion, and fulfillment in portraiture and candid shots.

    I was highly impressed with Juliun's work. He had a real command and made sure that everyone was calm and he was everywhere! He did a great job of getting every important moment without getting in the way of the couple, other vendors, or the guests.

    Juliun’s work is absolutely incredible! He is truly one of the best photographers to have on your wedding day! He goes that extra mile, and would even hold an umbrella for you while you scamper inside so that your dress doesn't get wet. I definitely recommend Skratspaper! I'm giving a galaxy of stars out of 5 on my review!

    Juliun was very prompt with his timing, he showed up to the venue early and stayed the entire time to make sure we enjoyed our very special day. He's very professional, talented, friendly, and a great person to get when you need pictures of your special moments with friends and family, and especially of yourself!
