Hi! I’m a Fort Collins-based photographer with a growing passion for capturing real, meaningful moments. I bring a unique perspective thanks to my formal training in photography at Colorado State University. I love working with couples to document their love stories in an authentic and relaxed way. Whether it’s a big celebration or an intimate elopement, I aim to create timeless images that feel true to you. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hiking through Colorado’s stunning landscapes looking for inspiration. Let’s create something beautiful together!

Because I am pursuing a degree in photography I have a certain level of expertise behind the camera that self taught photographers don't always achieve. I have my own personal style but can always pivot and curate anything a client dreams of.

    Beautiful Photos and an Even Better Experience

    We cannot recommend Nikki enough! She photographed both our engagement session and our wedding, and she was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was organized, responsive, and made the entire process feel seamless. Before both our engagement session and wedding day, she communicated everything clearly so we always knew what to expect. On our wedding day, we had an unexpected mishap when our ice cream melted. Without hesitation, Nikki ran to the store and was back in about 15 minutes with everything we needed so the night could continue smoothly. It had nothing to do with photography, but it perfectly reflects the kind of person she is and how much she genuinely cares about her couples. We also received both galleries much earlier than promised, and the photos are absolutely stunning. We love her vision, the way she captured every moment, and all of the little candid details we'll cherish forever. If you're looking for someone who is talented, professional, and truly goes above and beyond, Nikki is the photographer for you. We are so grateful we chose her and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

    Engagement photos

    I recently had my engagement photo shoot with Nikki Wilks. She had posted that she is starting out in the wedding industry. And I just want to say she is AMAZING! DMd her asking if she would be interested in doing our pictures and gave her some inspo pics and she blew them out of the water. If you are looking for a photographer. She is definelty your girl.     Proposal Photoshoot

    Nikki did a fantastic job with our surprise engagement photos. Nikki was very responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Nikki to anyone searching for a photographer.

First you will reach out through my booking form or schedule a call. I will reach out and make sure our dates align! After we connect I will send you a wedding booking form where you fill out venue, date, and get to know you info. Next is the contract and deposit and you are in my calendar! You will have access to unlimited consultation calls and planning sessions. After your wedding, you will receive a sneak peek gallery within 24 hours. This gallery will contain at least 30 images. 4-6 weeks later you will receive your full wedding gallery!
I shoot on a Canon R6 MarkII camera which comes with two SD card slots. That means that your photos are automatically recorded in two places during the wedding. When I get home I offload your photos on to two different hard drives before I start editing. I keep your photos on the original SD cards until I deliver your gallery. From editing to delivery your photos are safely stored in 4 different places. Even in the event of file corruption or loss, I always have a secure back-up so you never lose these memories. 
All Colorado and Southern Wyoming weddings are included in my packages with no additional fees! For travel out of state and out of the country I create custom pricing packages that fit your needs. I can't wait to see where your story takes us!
Absolutely! I will guide you through the entire posing process. I love to use prompts to create fun and candid moments as well as the traditional poses. I love creating Pinterest boards with clients we can both add to. I get to see what poses you LOVE and help you execute them!
This depends on a what is most important to you! My most popular package is 8 hours. If you want coverage from getting ready to the reception, have a lot of important details, or have a large wedding party/family, I recommend more time. If you are more focused on couple photos, ceremony, and first dances then you can go for less time! I will help you create a custom timeline based on what package is best for you.
