About Annie Baker Photography

Annie Baker

Founder & Lead Photographer

What started as taking senior pictures for friends in high school has grown into Annie Baker Photography LLC and a career I once only dreamed about. I started photography in 2021 with a camera, a love for documenting people, and no idea how far it would take me. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing seniors, couples, families, engagements, and weddings. My goal has always been to create timeless, true-to-color images that feel genuine to you and bring you right back to how the moment felt. I want every client to feel comfortable, cared for, and celebrated from start to finish.

What sets Annie Baker Photography apart is that I care just as much about your experience as I do about your final gallery. I’m not here to simply show up, take photos, and leave. I’m there to help you feel comfortable, guide you when you need it, notice the little in-between moments, and make the entire process feel personal. My style is timeless, true-to-color, romantic, and elegant, while still keeping every gallery authentic to you. My goal is for you to feel genuinely cared for and walk away with photos that bring you right back to exactly how the moment felt.

    Annie Baker Photography

From our first message with Annie Baker Photography, we knew we had found someone special. Annie communicated with us through text and email in a way that felt respectful and genuine, always keeping us calm and on track leading up to our big day. What really stood out was her secret wedding package—a huge discount that made professional photography possible for us as a low-income couple. On our untraditional wedding day, Annie went way beyond what we hired her for, helping coordinate details and keeping everything flowing smoothly even when things got hectic. Her photos captured the warmth and joy of our celebration in such an intimate way, and she treated every single person with grace and kindness throughout the day. We're so grateful to have worked with one of Denver's best photographers and can't recommend her enough.

    The best Photographer, Annie Baker!

Over the years Annie has done countless photos sessions with me, from my high school prom to my upcoming wedding! We have know each other for almost a decade! She is such a kind hearted talented photographer. Who always makes sure the session goes just how you planned if not way better! Her communication is fast and reliable leaving the customer feeling confident about the process. I recommend her all the time and use photos she’s taken for me as the examples as they are so persuasive due to their quality!

It was fantastic working with Annie for our maternity pictures! She was extremely professional and prompt with communication. She made our family feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire shoot and had great suggestions for different poses. The pictures came out FANTASTIC! We absolutely love them and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I would 10/10 use Annie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for professional photography. She was wonderful to work with!

I recommend booking your wedding photography as soon as you've secured your date and venue! Most of my couples book anywhere from 6–18 months in advance, especially for popular spring, summer, and fall dates. That said, there’s no such thing as booking “too early,” and I’m always happy to check availability for weddings that are coming up sooner. Since I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, reaching out early gives you the best chance of securing your date!
Yes! For weddings with a second photographer, my boyfriend usually works alongside me. He knows my shooting style, workflow, and exactly what I look for throughout the day, which makes us a seamless team. If he is unavailable, I also have a small group of photographers I know, trust, and feel confident having represent Annie Baker Photography. I’m very intentional about who I bring onto a wedding day, so anyone working alongside me is someone I trust to take care of my couples and help create the experience and coverage I expect for every wedding.
Yes! I individually edit every image in your final wedding gallery in my signature style. I go through the full day, remove duplicates, test shots, blinks, missed focus, and anything that doesn’t add to your story, and then carefully edit the strongest images for consistency, color, lighting, and overall feel. You won’t receive every photo taken, but you will receive all of the best, meaningful moments from your day fully edited and ready to enjoy.
Right now, I specialize in photography and don't offer full wedding videography services. However, I have a handful of videographers I trust and am always happy to recommend to my couples. Throughout the day, I occasionally grab short behind-the-scenes videos on my phone during some of the biggest moments, when I can do so without taking away from photo coverage. I send any videos I capture afterward as a little extra keepsake! These clips aren't guaranteed and aren't a replacement for professional videography.
I know how exciting it is to relive your wedding day, so I always try to get sneak peeks out as quickly as possible! I aim to deliver them within 72 hours, but because downloading, backing up, and culling thousands of images can take time, sneak peeks are guaranteed within two weeks. You can typically expect your full wedding gallery within 10 weeks, with a maximum turnaround time of 15 weeks during especially busy seasons.
The number of images you receive depends on the length of your wedding coverage, your timeline, and how much is happening throughout the day. Most wedding galleries include about 100–200+ fully edited images. I focus on quality over hitting a specific number, so your final gallery will include the strongest images that best tell your day's story, not unnecessary duplicates or filler.
I have never had to cancel on a wedding, and I take that responsibility incredibly seriously. I will always do everything within my control to be there and photograph your day as planned. In the rare event of a true emergency that made me physically unable to attend, I would work to secure a trusted professional photographer to step in. I would choose someone whose work, professionalism, and ability I trust enough to feel comfortable hiring for my own wedding.
Absolutely! I’m based in Colorado, but I’m always open to traveling for the right wedding. Travel fees may apply depending on location, mileage, lodging, or other travel needs, and we'll discuss everything upfront before booking.
Yes! I’m happy to help build or review the photography portion of your timeline so we have enough time for the moments that matter without making your wedding day feel rushed. I’ll help plan around getting ready, first looks, family photos, portraits, ceremony details, and everything in between.
We make it work! Weather is one of the few things none of us can control, so I always encourage having a backup plan. Rain, snow, clouds, and wind can still create beautiful photos, and I’ll work with you and your venue to find the best option for your day.
No. RAW and unedited images are unfinished files and do not represent my final work or photography style. Your gallery will include the strongest images from your day, carefully selected and fully edited in my signature style.
Definitely! I especially recommend making a list of important family groupings or sentimental photos you absolutely don't want to miss. You’re also welcome to send inspiration photos, but I won’t recreate an entire Pinterest board, we’ll use them as inspiration while keeping your photos natural and unique to you.
Yes! Your final gallery includes personal printing rights, meaning you can download, print, and share your images for personal use. I have my own printing site that I use and would be happy to help you order anything that meets your printing needs. If you do decide to just print them yourself, I recommend ordering through professional labs whenever possible so the colors and quality look as intended.
Absolutely, and almost every couple tells me this! You do not need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you through prompts, movement, and posing throughout the day, while still letting you two interact naturally so your photos feel like you.
Yes! I love photographing the little details that help tell the full story of your wedding day. Depending on your timeline, this can include rings, invitations, florals, shoes, jewelry, dress details, table settings, sentimental items, and venue décor.
Wedding days rarely run perfectly on time, and that’s okay! I’ll adjust wherever I can and help keep photography moving smoothly. If the day runs significantly past your contracted coverage, additional coverage may be available, depending on my availability and your package terms.
You’re booking me because you love the style in my portfolio, so I'll edit your gallery consistently with my signature look. I’m always happy to hear what you love, but I don’t apply trendy filters or completely change my editing style for individual weddings.
