    ESTHER & JAMES FAN CLUB— they’re just the best

    Cannot say enough good things about Esther & James!! Their kindness, professionalism, attention-to-detail, and talent is off the charts. Our entire wedding party was raving about how wonderful they were to work with. And our photos and videos are GORGEOUS— literally everything we could have ever dreamed of. They captured our essence and our people and our love with such joy, creativity, and care. They were super down with all of our antics— including standing in the middle of a wet road and sprinting with us from table-to-table at our dinner to get a photo with all our wedding guests in under 4 minutes. They work super well together and are so clearly deeply in love, which brings such a calm, capable, and respectful vibe to what can be such a chaotic day. 1000000/10 experience top to bottom.     best photographer and videographer everrr

    Esther and her husband made our Minnesota wedding day so special, and we couldn't have asked for a better team. From our first conversations leading up to the big day, they communicated clearly with us and even worked with us through a difficult time, which meant the world to us. Esther and her husband are a duo who really understood what we wanted, she even pulled up our inspiration pictures on her phone to make sure they nailed every shot we dreamed about. Their posing guidance was a lifesaver since I definitely can't pose on my own, and they captured some incredible moments, especially one we took on the balcony that we absolutely love. The best surprise was when they brought their drone, we can't wait to see all the aerial footage and videos they got for us. We're so glad we booked them and would recommend them to any couple looking for photographers who genuinely care about making your day perfect.

    Engagement Session

    Working with Next Door Digital was such a wonderful experience for our Engagement session. Typically, couples book me about 6 to 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I will bring an assistant along if I feel like I need one for any reason. We also offer second shooters for photo or video if you would like an easier schedule or those special angles a single shooter can't get.
Yes! We actually offer a bundle discount for getting both photo and video since we are a married couple and love getting to work together on the same wedding!
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Videos are often delivered even before this time. You will get a sneak peek to enjoy a lot sooner, though! That will make the wait a little easier ;)
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my career, I have done weddings within weeks of giving birth more than once because I booked them before getting pregnant, haha. That being said, we don't go down without a fight. However, if there is a time we eventually can't make a wedding, we will guarantee you a replacement of equal value that will capture your day, and we will still edit in our style for you <3
Yes, all of our base packages come with audio recording for all of your special events! With our focus being on storytelling, we believe the audio is quintessential for your video and do not offer a discount for not including it.
While we do have a same day printing add-on to get some neat polaroids, we do not offer professional albums in print. All of our products are digital delivery, with printing rights.
Due to copyright laws, we have to be careful about what songs we sell as a part of our videos. That being said, we use a Soundstripe subscription as well as Audiio and Fyrfly, and we’re happy to let you choose your music from one of those libraries! If you would like to choose a song from another library, we will work with you to buy your selection for the additional fees associated with the purchase.
To secure your date, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit. If you purchase an engagement session, that amount will be due at the session. All other fees are due by the wedding date.
Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements! Please note your elopement must have fewer than 10 total guests.
Definitely! While we’re based in Milan, Tennessee, we’re available for destination weddings country-wide. If your wedding is over 3 hours away from Milan, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
