MCG Photography, a.k.a. Corrie and James. We are a married duo of photographers who met in the darkroom in Santa Barbara many moons ago. The male/female perspectives give us access and full range of emotions to the day. We are a blend of yin and yang, curves and edges, dreams and drive. Our hope is to provide a feel-good experience sprinkled with fun and kindness while capturing your unique you resulting in fabulous photography.

We approach each celebration with curious eyes and are drawn to relationships, moments, fun, the laughter in between the moments and joy that translates as beauty. Wildflowers to roses. Tiered cakes to donuts. Introverts to extroverts. Beaches to grand oaks. Super heroes to James Bond appeal. Sunshine to raindrops. Sacred ceremonies to rocking parties. Elopements to anniversaries. We are a husband and wife team. We prefer to work together, so you get both of us.
We send out a teaser slideshow 2-3 weeks after the wedding. The full gallery is online 5-6 weeks after the wedding.
Yes! We cull and edit first. Then we go through and process each image.
We will remove wedding day blemishes from the bride and groom. Please point them out as we don't want to take away a beauty mark or identifier.
A full day of photography usually gets culled to approximately 700 images of goodness. Keep in mind this estimate varies depending your wedding coverage, shot list and wedding size.
Yes, we do photograph same sex weddings.
