Hi, I’m Marcela, a Massachusetts wedding photographer capturing celebrations with a balance of timeless imagery and genuine connection. For the past 7+ years, I’ve documented weddings with an approach that feels natural, intentional, and calm. My goal is to create photographs that look beautiful years from now, while helping you feel fully present on your wedding day. I can’t wait to hear your story.

What makes my approach different is that I care just as much about your experience as I do your photographs. I know being in front of a camera can feel unfamiliar, so I create space for you to relax, be present, and enjoy your day instead of feeling like you’re constantly posing. I’ll gently guide when needed and step back when moments naturally unfold. My couples often tell me they felt calm, taken care of, and able to truly experience their wedding day, while still receiving images that feel timeless and intentional.

Marcela is the best!
Having worked in the wedding industry for years, I’ve always appreciated great photography, but it wasn’t until I became a bride myself that I truly understood its value! It’s nearly impossible to take in all of your wedding day, and that's why having someone there to capture not only what you experience, but also the moments you miss, is an extraordinary gift. Seeing photos of our family and friends enjoying the day, candid shots of us laughing and soaking it all in, and quiet moments we didn’t even realize were happening, all of it moved us in ways we didn’t expect. But beyond the images themselves, you need a photographer who understands you, someone you trust implicitly to preserve one of the most meaningful days of your life. Marcela has amazed me with her talent since the very first styled shoot we did together. But what truly sets her apart is her ability to make you feel at ease in front of the camera which, let’s be honest, can feel awkward if you’re not used to it. She has this incredible way of making the process feel natural and effortless, and her eye for capturing the most authentic, candid moments is unparalleled. For my husband and me, those relaxed, unposed shots were what we wanted most and Marcela delivered them beautifully. Even when it came to more formal portraits (which of course you need and want on your wedding day) the experience never felt stiff or staged. She works with ease, efficiency, and kindness, making the entire experience enjoyable and pressure-free. Her ability to adapt to any setting, request, or personality is remarkable. She reads the room intuitively and blends into the background so seamlessly that you often forget she’s there. That’s part of her magic; her presence never disrupts the moment, it enhances it. On a day when all eyes are on you and emotions run high, Marcela helps you stay present. And that presence is reflected in every frame. Her artistry, eye for detail, and signature style were exactly what we hoped for, but more than that, we adore who she is as a person. You spend so much of your day (and the lead-up to it) with your photographer, and having someone who feels like a friend makes all the difference. Marcela has captured our journey from couple’s portraits to engagement photos, our rehearsal dinner, and finally, our wedding day. I feel incredibly lucky to have had her with us during such joyful, unforgettable moments in our lives. LOVE marcela beyond words!
love marcela beyond words! we could not be happier with our wedding photos. from the start, she just got it - she understood exactly what we were looking for and made the whole process feel easy. the photos are beautiful, timeless, and somehow capture both the big moments and all the little in-between ones. marcela and her team nailed every shot. love that the gallery has a mix of classic photos we'll always cherish and creative, unique angles too. on wedding day, marcela fit right in and quietly did her thing. we never felt like we were constantly posing or being pulled away from the moment, but somehow she captured everything. six months later, we still go back through the photos all the time. such a fun way to relive the day, and every time we look through them we notice something new. if you're looking for someone talented, easygoing, and genuinely great at what she does, hire marcela asap!
