Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I’m a Michigan based (but will travel anywhere) wedding photographer, storyteller, book lover, and firm believer that the best photographs are the ones that feel like you!! When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand, wandering somewhere beautiful in the UP, gaming, or spending time with my family. I’m drawn to the little moments!! the nervous smiles, windblown hair, happy tears, ridiculous laughter, and the people you love gathered in one place. My goal is to document your wedding honestly and beautifully, so years from now your photos don’t just show you what your day looked like. they bring you right back to how it felt.

I don’t want your wedding gallery to feel like a photoshoot!! I want it to feel like your wedding. I’ll guide you when you need it, step back when you don’t, and pay attention to the moments happening in between. My style is rooted in storytelling; genuine emotion, beautiful light, movement, connection, and all the tiny details you may not even notice while the day is unfolding. I want you to be present with the people you love instead of worrying about the camera. You deserve photographs that are beautiful, yes, but more importantly, photographs that are unmistakably yours!!
