I'm Lindsey, a Vermont and New Hampshire-based photographer. I grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and have lived between there and Vermont since 2013. When I'm not on the clock, you will most likely find me hanging off a ledge somewhere, carving turns down a slope, reading on a beach, or hiking around with my golden retrievers, Macha and Lyra. Often still with my camera in hand!

With a background in both fine art and photojournalism, I love blending these styles to document your wedding. I will capture candid moments that authentically convey the big and small moments of the day, as well as portraits of you with your loved ones. I am drawn to unique and intimate ceremonies, from sunrises on a mountaintop to a whimsical lakeside celebration. If you think my style sounds like a good fit, please reach out. So grateful we chose Lindsey
We feel so lucky that Lindsey Garland was our wedding photographer. She was wonderful to work with from beginning to end, and we couldn’t be happier with the photos she captured of our day. Before the wedding, Lindsey helped us think through our “must-have” photos and offered thoughtful guidance. On the day itself, she arrived early and captured our friends and family behind the scenes as they arranged flowers, decorated, and prepared the food. Those candid moments ended up being some of our favorite photos because they capture so much of what made the day feel personal and meaningful. Lindsey has a real talent for noticing the little moments while also making sure we got all the family and friend group photos we wanted. She was organized and efficient without ever making the photography feel intrusive. She also went above and beyond when rain was in the forecast, purchasing transparent umbrellas for us in case we wanted to take outdoor portraits anyway. That extra thoughtfulness really meant a lot to us. She captured the ceremony, dinner, dancing, beautiful details, and so many spontaneous moments in between. Looking through the finished photos brings us right back to how the day felt, which is exactly what we hoped for. Lindsey was professional, communicative, reasonably priced, and delivered our photos right on schedule. We’re incredibly grateful for her work and would wholeheartedly recommend her, especially for a wedding!

Mountain Top Wedding Ceremony
We had Lindsey as our wedding photographer. She was super helpful, patient, gave great suggestions, and was willing to hike up a mountain with us at 4 am. We chatted with Lindsey beforehand and told her our plan of hiking up to Camel's Hump summit in Vermont with a few folks and having a small ceremony up there. She was able to capture our moments from the first steps of our hike, changing into our formal wear, capturing the intimate vow exchange, to the celebration, to then hiking down. Even though the weather was not clear, it was an experience to remember. We got married in a cloud, and it was amazing. Thank you so much!

Captured the party!
