Chicago native, with a big love for hot dogs and pizza. Now resides in the land of the pines, and not mad about it one bit. After doing hair for 6 years, I suffered a stroke, leaving me unable to use my right hand fully, blessing me with a career change I’ve always wanted to make, just needed that push, and boy did I get one! H E N C E LEFT SHOT

You’ll find me using my left hand the majority of the time, but, every now and then, my right hand will join the party! If I’m not on a session, you’ll find me at LUX Salon as their social media manager and in-house photographer, making smoothies, or hanging out with my two little babes, AJ and Lincoln. HIRE LEEN! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!
From our first email, Left Shot Photography made everything simple and straightforward. She got back to us quickly through text and email, answering all our questions without any confusion. What really impressed us was that she was 8 months pregnant when she photographed both our welcome event and wedding day, yet she still showed up as a thoughtful and caring professional. She captured exactly what we wanted—candid shots of our guests, romantic moments between us, and so many details we didn't even think to ask for. Her directions for posing my husband and me felt natural and easy, which helped us relax in front of the camera. I'm so grateful we hired her because the photos are unforgettable, and she made our special day feel even more special by being such an incredible human.

Leen is a ball of sunshine on your day!
Leen was amazing on our wedding day! Not only did she show up early, but she fully supported us with a smile on her face and was a calm presence when dealing with family dynamics. I also appreciate that she took my crazy long Pinterest board and brought it to life, making sure to get us a couple of editorial pictures. She is amazing at capturing the joy of everyone in the room, all throughout the day. Couldn't recommend her more!
