Hi there! I grew up in a small town up north in Wisconsin. I married the most amazing guy ever shortly after I turned 21. I am currently living in Maryland. I am a very active person so there are many things I enjoy doing. I first discovered my love for photography when I was pretty young and got a Barbie film camera for my birthday, I hauled that thing everywhere with me, haha. I strive to meet every clients dream session. I specialize in weddings and engagements but I do almost every kind of photography you can imagine, from family to seniors to wedding to maternity to couples.

I am very easy going so you can expect to feel very comfortable when working with me. I am not a bossy person in nature but I know exactly what I want when it comes to photographing people so I will be very directive when shooting, so you can be relax and let me take the lead.

    Kysa made us feel so comfortable behind the camera lens for our engagement and wedding photos. She was so good at suggesting poses and positioning us in a way that made us feel relaxed and comfortable. The pictures speak for themselves! We loved her style from the start but seeing pictures of ourselves that she took blew us away. The way she captures sunlight and her eye for small details is unparalleled. She was by our side capturing every special moment of our wedding day. She never missed a photo opportunity!

    Super communicative and prompt. She made us feel more comfortable in front of the camera which was super important because we are not huge picture people. We got our pictures back pretty quickly and she did a great job editing them and getting all the shots I asked for. Would definitely recommend working with Kysa & KJ Flash!

    Our wedding had to be rescheduled a total of 3 times and Kysa was so kind about our situation. She really captures the moments that matter and will work with you to make sure that happens, no matter your circumstances. We did our engagement pictures with her first so I just knew going into the wedding that our photos would turn out beautifully… but I was amazed at the fact that they were better then I could have imagined. She took all of my requests into consideration and then was even able to offer suggestions for pictures/locations that ended up being some of my very favorites! She really does her research! However, her best quality is the fact that she makes you feel so comfortable, even if it might be your first time meeting her. We will be using her services to capture all of our happy, exciting family moments to come!

    Kysa was the BEST. She communicates quickly and effectively and our conversations were so helpful. We hired her for our wedding back in October 2021. We had an introductory call prior to signing the contract where we went over details and determined if we were a good match. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had a prep call to make sure we were on the same page (so helpful!). I made a list of pictures I wanted (and I have a big family) and she made it all happen. She was so kind when I’d keep grabbing her for different pictures during our reception. After receiving our photos, I've spent countless hours reliving our day with family members. She provided soooo many pictures. They're all fantastic and I can't thank her enough for capturing moments between friends and family that we can treasure forever (and eventually show our grandkids how cool our wedding was). Her professionalism, creativity, and communication is unmatched. Although I feel like every bride looks back on their wedding and wishes they changed a few things, I know we made the best decision in hiring Kysa.
