Hi, I’m Kaci! Wife, mom of three, and your built-in hype girl. I’ve been in the chaos of real life long enough to know that the best moments are never posed. Based in Anniston, Alabama, I serve couples and families across Oxford, Calhoun County & surrounding areas. My sessions are relaxed, fun, and completely stress-free. I come with an emergency kit and I will absolutely hype you up the entire time.

    Don’t Recommend

    I genuinely hate that I have to leave a review like this because I trusted Kaci to capture one of the most important days of my life. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my wedding gallery and the overall experience. I vividly remember filling out a questionnaire that Kaci emailed me before the wedding. I took the time to specifically list the photos and moments that were important to me, and unfortunately, I did not receive many of the photos I specifically requested. I told Kaci I would be getting to our venue around 8-8:30 and she did not arrive until 11:00. The most important photo I wanted was one I personally communicated how meaningful it was to me. My dad was unable to attend my wedding because he had open- heart surgery just 2–3 days before my wedding. Because he couldn’t physically be there, I specifically wanted a photo capturing his reaction during the ceremony while he was watching through FaceTime. This was an incredibly emotional and important moment for me, and unfortunately, that photo was not captured. As the bride, I am also extremely disappointed by the lack of photos of me. I have only around 2–4 pictures of myself as the bride, and ZERO photos show my entire wedding dress. Every photo of me is essentially from the chest/bust up. I messaged her asking if there were more of me and she stated “That’s all I have due to them being taking quickly during first looks”. There are also significantly more photos of my husband and his groomsmen than there are of me and my bridesmaids. The photos of my mother and me are another major disappointment. They are very yellow/orange, grainy, dark and there isn’t even a photo of us looking directly at the camera together. These are memories with my mom that I wanted to treasure, and unfortunately, the quality and lack of variety left me very upset. I also noticed that there are significantly more photos of my husband’s side of the family than there are of mine. I only have two photos with my family in the entire gallery. That is incredibly disappointing when both families were such an important part of our wedding day. There were also multiple blurry photos throughout the gallery, which was disappointing considering wedding photos are something you invest in because these are moments you cannot recreate. I did try to handle this privately and respectfully. After receiving my gallery, I messaged Kaci and explained my feelings in much more depth because I wanted her to understand why I was hurt and disappointed. I politely asked if I could have my RAW pictures so I could to pay someone to professionally edit my wedding pictures and Instead of having a professional conversation about my concerns she unfriended me and sent me and email instead stating she was done with this conversation. I understand that photography is subjective and that no photographer can capture every single moment of a wedding. However, these weren’t simply small preferences. I had specifically communicated the photos and moments that were important to me beforehand, including an extremely meaningful photo involving my dad, and many of those requests were not captured. I trusted someone with memories from one of the most important days of my life, and unfortunately, I am left feeling like some of the most important moments and photographs I wanted were missed. The fact that these memories cannot be recreated makes this experience especially heartbreaking.

    We've been working with Kaci Wingo Creatives for five years now, starting with our daughter's birthday photoshoots and most recently for her kindergarten graduation. I highly recommend booking at least a year in advance, but I understand sometimes that can be difficult. The best practice is to nail down your venue then your photographer right after.

Full gallery delivery is generally within 6 weeks. But you won’t leave your wedding night empty handed. I deliver sneak peeks during your reception so you can announce your marriage to the world with your actual photos the same night. I never post anything before you do. Your moment is yours first. Always.
I’m based in Oxford, AL and serve all of Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Weddings beyond that area are welcome. Travel fees apply.
