I love people. I love the human condition. I've been photographing people since I was in high school and have shot hundreds of weddings over the past 20 years... so many, in fact, that I had to take a break and not shoot them for a while. I kind of got burned out. But during that break, I found an appreciation for the small, intimate nuptials that friends and acquaintances would ask me to photograph. There's an intimacy and sweetness to smaller, less fancy affairs where the focus is on the couple and their family and friends.

My photographic style is documentary and photojournalistic. I'm very experienced and love utilizing natural light. I like to keep things simply and focus on what really matters: you and your loved ones on your special day. I also now exclusively photograph micro weddings, backyard nuptials, and elopements in the Denver and Boulder metro area.
