Hi, I'm Jenn Petty. I'm a wedding photographer based in Monterey, California and I travel worldwide capturing all people's love stories. I believe in equality, representation, and being kind to everyone. I believe in promoting self-love, confidence, body-neutrality, and general badassery into each of my clients. You don't need to always love your body or the way you look because that's just not realistic. But you shouldn't let it hold you back from enjoying life because you're so amazing and so so much more than your weight

I travel to any destination you'd like and I'm up for any kind of terrain, whether that be hiking the glaciers in Alaska or camping for three days off the grid at a beautiful piece of land that's been in your family for generations. Everyone has a love story that is unique and special to them, and each of those stories deserves to be told. I will capture your day in the way that best expresses who you are and truly tells your story. After all, isn't this day about you anyways? We fiercely support inclusivity and welcome all love.     JeLau Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From the very first time we spoke, the owner Jen was so helpful, direct, and kind - making the entire process leading up to the big day smooth and stress-free. On the day itself, Jen kept me feeling calm and on schedule, and made every moment fun and enjoyable. The quality of their work is truly outstanding - the photos are absolutely beautiful and captured the perfection of our special day. Jen is an amazing person which makes her amazing to work with, and we are so grateful to have had her as our wedding photographer. We couldn't recommend JeLau Photography more highly!

    Jenn is everything!!!

    After we took our engagement photos with Jenn I knew it was a match made in heaven…. She was such a professional and made us both feel very at ease. We aren’t huge on posing for pictures for hours, but Jenn and her team made it super fun and relaxed! She gave us plenty of tips and direction on how to pose, but also allowed us to have some really genuine moments that were captured absolutely perfectly!! After working with her for our engagement session, I felt so at ease leading up to the wedding knowing she was going to capture everything I wanted (plus more!!). She truly made my wedding day run so smoothly, it wouldn’t have been nearly as relaxing and stress free if it weren’t for her. From helping with timelines, to making adjustments for a rainy morning…and stepping in literally wherever she was needed, I truly felt like she had my back! Jenn and her team (shout out JoJo and Leslie - y’all are the best!) are truly amazing and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

Included in each Wedding Packages is an Engagement Session, primary + secondary photographer, assistance with wedding timeline, access to my list of preferred vendors in the Monterey Bay Area, a digital online gallery, plus so much more! Yep! Every Wedding Package includes an Engagement Session that that's up to 2 hours, includes 1-3 locations, 1-3 outfits, personal styling via an online personal styler for maximum convenience, guidance and direction with posing, 50 Images, bottle of bubbly (or sparkling cider) for those "poppin bottles" photos, and an online digital gallery.
Don't worry, I gotchu 😎 About 95% of my clients you see on this page claim up and down that they're awkward in front of the camera. Part of my services is I guide and direct you through posing so you feel natural and comfortable during your Engagement Session and on your Wedding Day.
If you're within the Monterey Bay and San Francisco Bay Areas, no charge! If your event is located within California yet outside of the Monterey Bay / San Francisco Bay area, there will be a $1,000 travel fee. If event is located outside of California but still within the continental US, it's an additional $2,000. For travel to Alaska, Hawaii + Puerto Rico, will be an additional $3000. For international travel, an additional $5,000.
