I'm Emily - a Pittsburgh-based wedding photographer set on capturing intimate, joyful, authentic, & emotional photos. I want you to look back on your wedding photos not just love the way they look, but I want you to remember what the moment felt like. My hope is for you to feel the way your loved one hugged you as they gave you away, to laugh as you look back at the best man giving his speech...every captured moment has a feeling. I will do my best to stop those moments in time for you to experience forever. I am witty, goofy, sarcastic, open-minded, & honest. I will be your ultimate third wheel.

Most of my couples walk away asking if they can be our "real life friends" after the wedding. My husband and I shoot together, so two people who are madly in love will be capturing YOUR love. With us as your wedding photographers, it will be a breeze. And you'll get two new "real life friends."

    I simply cannot put into words how amazing Emily is. Her energy is vibrant and brings out the most genuine laughter and smiles from everyone. Not only did she take stunning photos that perfectly captured our wedding day, she also helped me get my boob tape situated, put my veil in and removed it. She makes everyone feel so comfortable and had our entire group laughing all day. She kept the timeline moving, but didn’t make us feel stressed or pressured. Communication and attention to detail are phenomenal and she sent us sneak peeks the day after the wedding and we had our full (HUGE) album a week later. I look forward to working with Emily for all the milestones in our lives. She truly has a gift.

    Words cannot describe how amazing Emily & her husband (2nd shooter) are!!!! Not only are they the sweetest people and cutest couple but they are so talented!!!! Emily is such a hype woman and someone you will thoroughly enjoy rooting you on while you take photos on such an important day! We felt so at ease and comfortable with them. We had zero doubt our photos would turn out amazing and dang did they deliver!! Emily was so thoughtful with poses and understanding hesitancies I had about certain photo angles (I hate a solid side profile and of course have imo a good side lol). She made sure we were comfortable and had just enough direction for stunning photos! Emily was also so helpful leading up to wedding day with timeline, organization, and opinions on lighting & dance floor color for the best reception photos. Things that honestly are not her job necessarily but she was more than willing to hop on a call anytime and talk through things with me. Do not hesitate booking her! You will absolutely not regret it!

    I've sat down to write this review several times at this point, but then all the emotions start in the best way possible. That is exactly what an experience with Emily does though! She is simply the most incredible human, and her spirit is so easily captured in her photos. The level of comfort she creates in her space (even when she knows the soft smile isn't it for you) while sharing so many giggles is something that is not easy to find. The way she so effortlessly is able to create a connection with you while completely embracing your personality in the form of art is unmatched. I suppose that is why she calls it the *magic* because that is exactly what it is. Magic. Emily photographed our wedding, and her work is absolutely stunning. Our friends and family have done nothing but rave about her as a person and her photos. But really what else is there to do when she creates perfection. She will leave you feeling full of love and confidence. Trust her process. Trust her silliness. Trust her passion. Because you will not be disappointed. She captures you in all of your best moments with elegance and empathy. We could not recommend Emily enough for any of your photography needs. We love you the most, and thank you so so so much for sharing our most special day with us!
