I have been a Colorado wedding photographer for 12 years and I still love it! I am based out of Buena Vista Colorado and shoot epic mountain weddings and in the winter I travel to Baja Mexico for beach weddings. I have two beautiful little girls and love any outdoor adventure you can throw my way.

Most of my couples have become lifelong friends and I cherish the relationships we've made and being able to watch their families grow. I used to travel all over the world to photograph weddings, now that I have a family I'm taking fewer weddings and making it about quality over quantity so I can focus on each couple and making their experience the best it can be. I love the art of photography, being creative, and also having adventures with my couples. Weddings can be stressful but I'm here to take the chaos out of it and make it a beautiful memory for you.

    Daylene is as thoughtful and attentive a wedding photographer you could ever ask for! We booked Daylene for our fall Buena Vista, CO wedding at the Surf Hotel and couldn't be happier with the experience of collaborating with her every step of the way. During the months leading up to our big day, Daylene diligently reached out to us to plan and scout for specific locations and shots we were looking for, all mixed in with recommendations from weddings she had previously worked at our venue. On the day of the wedding itself, Daylene found the all best ways to engage and bring out the personalities of not just the bride and groom, but everyone that found themselves in front of her camera. She flawlessly kept us on time and on task and found every perfect moment to showcase the best parts of our relationship and our wedding day. The end result was a wonderful collection of a thousand photos that perfectly captured the elements of our wedding story, the venue, our friends and family, and the natural beauty of the locale. We love to revisit the photos and slideshow we recieved from time to time because the photos are just that spectacular. Daylene's hard work, dedication, and eagerness to go the extra mile while providing an exceptional experience cannot be emphasized enough - if we had it all to do over we would undoubtedly pick her again!

After we know that we are great fit for one another a deposit of 50% is due to reserve your wedding day as we sign the contract. I will send you helpful information sheets for planning your wedding day and engagement photos.
Yes! I love traveling and taking photos so this is a great combo! I have traveled the globe and am excited to do destination weddings. I often shoot in other states from the east to west coast and everywhere in-between.
I am happy to share a full gallery with you, you can also visit the blog to see more complete set of images.
I usually deliver between 800-1000 photos. I take many more photos throughout the day, and then handpick the very best ones that tell the store of your day. I include all the important details and make sure they look stunning.
Yes! My job is to capture your special moments and make sure you have access to them. Your photos are yours to have and to share. You can print them wherever you prefer and the are not watermarked. If you would like my help in printing or designing albums and wall art, I am here to help!
Your edited images will be emailed to you in the form of an online gallery . You can download full resolution or web resolution directly from the gallery. You can also share your gallery with anyone you would like. Your guests are able to make professional-quality prints directly from the gallery.
I believe it is very important to get your images while all your wedding day emotions are still fresh, I estimate 1-3 weeks for a wedding, 1-2 weeks for everything else.
You can order an album through me and use your online gallery to pick out your favorite pictures. Once you have picked your favorites images I will begin the design process. You will receive a proof design and you can make up to two rounds of revisions, we will have a zoom call to go over each page.
