My name is Dawcin Jones and I'm a traveling photographer specializing in weddings, elopements, couples, maternity, seniors, and boudoir. I travel all over the country (and the world!) to capture unscripted and candid moments. I offer timeless, true-to-color photography that you will love for decades to come. I love Taylor Swift, agriculture, and making people feel beautiful.

I don't make your day about pictures; I make the pictures about your day. I'm committed to capturing genuine moments with real smiles, real tears, and real love.     Dawcin is the hype woman you’ve been looking for!

    I have always avoided pictures of any kind due to a plethora of insecurities, so when I got engaged that was truthfully my biggest worry, which seems so silly. When my fiancé and I did our first round of pictures with Dawcin we were awkward & I was convinced I would hate them. But she convinced me that we were the cutest couple she’d ever seen. She pulled me right out my funk and helped us, help her, create adorable pictures. I can’t wait to see how our wedding day photos come out. I’d recommend her to anyone any day!

    She is AMAZING!

    We hired Dawcin to photograph our wedding. Because of the package we chose, we got a complimentary engagement session. Dawcin was excellent through the whole process. She gave us a guide that explained what to wear, how to do makeup correctly for pictures and that explained some other great tips for having professional photos as well as for our wedding. While doing pictures, Dawcin was transparent and fun every step of the way. She is always up for adventure which makes the experience even better! We are so happy to have Dawcin for our wedding and look forward to having her do other future photo shoots for our family as well. I would recommend her to anyone :)

I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a comprehensive guide to help you plan for the day you've been waiting for your whole life. I'll also be there to provide 1:1 support and specific vendor recommendations. On your wedding day, I will capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique.
YES YES 1000% YES!! I strongly believe that all love is love and I'm here to capture it all.
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints! If you can't wait 6-8 weeks for your images (which I totally get!), I do offer a package add-on which allows you to receive your full gallery within 1 week of your wedding.
The sooner the better! The most common time is 18-12 months before your date.
I consider my work to be timeless, classic, and true-to-color.
Yes! I'm prepared for any and all lighting situations.
I shoot on a camera body with dual card slots meaning that your images are automatically backed up on 2 memory cards. As soon as I'm back home or at my hotel, I back up all of your images on an external hard drive. Once your images are backed up, I upload them on a cloud storage system.
If an excruciating circumstance is to arise and I'm absolutely unable to photograph your wedding, I have a long list of photographer friends I will set up to be at your wedding. No matter what, you will have a quality photographer at your wedding.
I always bring along my 2 camera bodies (both Nikon z6iis), my off-camera flash with extra batteries, my 28-70mm lens, my 50 mm lens, and my 35mm lens. I also bring along my speaker and a variety of detail lay goodies. I'm a chronic overpacker, so I'm always prepared in the case of an equipment malfunction.
I prefer to post the images from your day, but if you want to keep things private - it's no big deal. Just communicate with me. Teamwork makes the dream work.
Yes. As a professional wedding photographer, I retain copyright of all your wedding images. However, I always provide an official copyright release for you allowing unlimited personal use and printing of your wedding photos. This is laid out for you in your contract.
