Hello there, we are Tom & Hannah Shoaff - Husband & Wife, Mom & Dad * Faithful dog parents. Our shooting style is very relaxed, natural, and pure. We want to capture your day and your memories as they were - so when you look back on them years from now, you’ll instantly remember how you felt, how the flowers smelt & what song you danced to. This life goes by too fast, so we are here to help you remember every part! We aren’t your traditional photo & video team. We avoid posed photos like the plague. We want you to feel something. Have raw emotion. Give us all of the candid images and shots.

We are different compared to other vendors in that we are first husband & wife. We know how to communicate best so that there are zero worries for the bride & groom to worry about on the wedding day. We have experienced our own wedding, know what to expect, but now we know how to best serve our clients, together as a team. We have perfected our communicate style so well that on wedding days, you hardly notice that there are two of us.

Terrible experience
We hired Blue Willow Photo for our wedding and unfortunately had a terrible experience. During both our engagement shoot and wedding day, the photographer made inappropriate comments about my wife's career, which were hurtful and unnecessary. Members of our bridal party commented on the photographer’s bad attitude and the clear disconnect between photographer and videographer that lead to significant time standing outside in 90 degree weather. The photos themselves were disappointing - poorly framed, out of focus, and largely unflattering. Further the editing appears to be lazy, if it was done at all - color editing is not consistent between photos and random empty glasses are in the background of portraiture. We struggled to find usable shots. My wife cannot look at the photos without crying and we feel we cannot even frame these, nor give them to family or friends. The wedding video arrived late out of contracted terms. We trusted this photographer with capturing one of the most important days of our lives, and they fell short in every way. The gallery we received bears little resemblance to the Blue Willow promotional material. I cannot recommend Blue Willow Photo to other couples, especially given their exorbitant pricing.
