Weddings by Rev. Bill Epperly is here to serve you, to make your wedding look and feel like you. I’m a Chicago-based officiant with a background in public speaking, coaching, and world religions. I craft one-of-a-kind ceremonies for couples of all faiths, identities, and cultural traditions—always written from scratch, never from templates. Whether you’re planning a luxury wedding in the city or an intimate elopement on the shore of Lake Michigan, I’ll bring presence, professionalism, and heart to your special day. I’m also available for travel and offer optional pre-marriage coaching using the Prepare/Enrich system.

The unique blend of skills and life experience I bring to every couple I work with sets me apart. I’m a writer, popular college professor, spiritual seeker, and longtime coach who knows how to guide, encourage, and listen. I’ve spent years studying the world’s spiritual traditions, and I bring that depth into crafting ceremonies that are grounded, joyful, and all about you. I’m known for my calm, thoughtful presence and my ability to make the planning process both meaningful and efficient. I’m also an ally to the LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse communities. The Love, Sweet Love Wedding Package is a warm, beautifully written 20–30 minute ceremony tailored to your spiritual, religious, interfaith, or secular style. It includes traditional elements, thoughtfully chosen readings and vows, and your choice of an optional unity ritual. Your license is filed immediately. A one-hour planning meeting with Rev. Bill ensures your ceremony reflects your preferences and personalities and feels just right. It's perfect for couples with limited time for planning.

    My wife and I got married this September. Reverend Bill was our officiant. We didn't know what type of ceremony we wanted. He listened to our ideas and helped us design a ceremony that felt authentically us.
