Shotgun Ceremonies is Seattle's elopement chapel, and yes, it really is a pink shipping container. We have married couples in Seattle since 2010, in the chapel, the gazebo or anywhere within fifteen miles that means something to you. Bronwen is our licensed officiant. You bring the license, we provide everything else including witnesses photos and music, and we file the paperwork so there is no courthouse line. Elopements, vow renewals, Elvis weddings, pub crawl weddings, offsite ceremonies. Whoever you love, the answer here has always been yes. Come elope with us.

Most officiants show up, read a script and leave. We are the whole thing. The chapel is ours, a genuinely pink shipping container in Georgetown, with a gazebo and room to make the day yours. Bronwen has been licensed and marrying Seattle couples since 2010, so the legal side is handled, witnesses included, paperwork filed, no courthouse line. We also do unique ceremonies no one will ever forget like Elvis weddings, pub crawl weddings, offsite vows and vows at jail and detention facilities. Description

Seattle's only Elvis wedding chapel is in Georgetown! Unlike Vegas Elvis weddings, you don't need to travel - our Elvis officiant performs live at our pink shipping container chapel or outdoor gazebo, right in the heart of Seattle's most interesting neighborhood. It’s a legal wedding with a licensed officiant plus a full Elvis performance, so you get the fun, the photos and the forever. Legal, licensed, and genuinely unforgettable.

    Personalized ceremony

    Bronwen at shotgun ceremonies made our ceremony so special and personalized . She even traveled to meet us at our venue . She took care of all the paperwork to help us file with the state . 10/10 would recommend ! She even does vow renewals .

Of course! We love that. Anything you can think of, from religious or family traditions to an Elvis-officiated elopement to a chapel full of all of your pets or stuffies. (Yep, that happens. More often than you'd think!)
Standard Shotgun Wedding: $500 ($200 deposit, $300 due day-of). Elvis Wedding: $750 ($350 deposit, $400 due day-of). Pub Crawl Wedding: $575 ($275 deposit, $300 due day-of). Off-Site Wedding: $500 within Seattle ($200 deposit, $300 due day-of). Incarcerated or Immigration Center Wedding: We Come to You. (Even There.) $400 - that's $100 off the standard rate, our way of making this accessible for couples navigating a hard situation ($200 deposit, $200 due day-of). Vow Renewal: $375 (on-site) or $400 (off-site). $150 deposit, remainder due day-of.
We book weddings up to 90 days in advance. For same-day ceremonies, we usually need 2-3 hours’ notice (but can’t guarantee availability). Have a specific date in mind? Don’t wait—book it today. Prefer to book over the phone? We'd love to chat! Call us at 206.372.3349.
It’s simple, unique to you, heartfelt and a little spontaneous. In the beginning of the ceremony, I’ll ask you both a few questions to briefly share your love story. You’ll have a chance to say something to each other (optional), then simple "I Do’s," exchange rings (if you have them - rings are not required!) and seal the deal with a kiss and marriage license signing. We can add or skip anything—it’s your day.
Yes! (The human and the four-legged kind!) Our indoor chapel fits up to 9 guests. Our outdoor gazebo can handle 10–12 standing guests, with a few extra allowed Monday–Friday. We’re cozy, not corporate. And we love pets!
It’s the funky, fabulous little village of vintage trailers that house independent artists, designers and makers. And it’s where we are! The Georgetown Trailer Park Mall is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays 11AM–4PM. (But we can accommodate weddings any time, not just during regular business hours.)
