If you want a secular but meaningful ceremony; if you’re spiritual but not religious; if the traditional vows don’t resonate; or if you’d like to incorporate nature-based aspects to your day, I would love to create your wedding ceremony. I am an ordained animist minister specializing in deeply personal and sacred weddings and vow renewals for couples of all orientations. As an officiant/celebrant, I serve the Hudson Valley and Tri-state areas, as well as NYC, New Jersey, western Massachusetts, and northern Pennsylvania. Other locations are possible– let’s talk!

Every ceremony is tailored to you: your story, your desire for secular, spiritual, or something else, your needs for the day. I also offer healing services, other spiritual offerings (despachos, fire, other rituals), and consultation for cultural elements to make your ceremony uniquely meaningful.

I've been performing weddings and other rites of passage for almost fifteen years.
Absolutely! For me, that's the whole point. This milestone should reflect who you are and your reasons for getting married (or renewing your vows). I take a lot of pride and pleasure in creating something that feels like "you." If you'd like someone to read a script for you, I'm probably not your person. Because ceremonies are created from scratch, I generally require booking at least six weeks in advance.
I'm happy to be part of your rehearsal if that feels helpful. I will ask an additional fee for my time and travel.
Sure! Weddings are about more than the license.
No: I'd encourage it if you asked for my opinion but it's really none of my business. I am a shamanic and Ancestral Lineage Healing practitioner and offer a discount to my bridal clients if that feels supportive through the planning process.
