Hi there! I'm Jay-Lee, the owner and lead artist at Superstition Makeup Co.! I love what I do, and what I do is make you feel like the best you! I've been a licensed cosmetologist for over twelve years and found my true calling in bridal beauty. I love the entire process of creating the perfect, one of a kind look for each of my clients and brides! That's why I specialize in natural, bridal beauty. I believe each and every woman is beautiful, and doesn't need to be caked in makeup to look and feel that way!

I moved to Arizona in 2019 and since then my business has grown from just me, to me and a team of amazing artists whom I train, trust and love! Me and my girls on the #SuperstitionTeam specialize in a natural, effortless approach to hair & makeup. On your wedding day you want to look like the best version of yourself, with timeless makeup and hair that will never be out of style! And that is exactly what we are here for. We use only the best high end products and special techniques, for long lasting hair and makeup.

    Absolutely love Jay-Lee and her team! I had my bridal trial with Jay Lee and she was so friendly and personable. She explained each step to me and we tweaked things as we went so we knew how I would want things on the big day. She was great with taking feedback and giving her tips and tricks. I also had her do my makeup for our welcome party and we tried out a different look which I also loved. All the girls and our moms also loved their makeup on the wedding day. Everyone complimented how beautiful the makeup and hair looked. Would definitely recommend!! We had about 18 services that day, 4 hair and makeup artists and everything went smoothly.

    My experience with Superstition Makeup Co was excellent! Jay-Lee was very responsive when I inquired via the website and took the time to answer all the various questions I had. I also loved that it was so easy to sign the contract and pay via an online platform! I had my bridal trial with Hannah the day of my bridal shower, and it was perfection! I showed her my inspiration pictures, and she asked all the right questions to clarify exactly what I was looking for which I appreciated! After my bridal shower, my gals were so impressed with the makeup that even more of them decided to book services for the wedding! Day of the wedding, Hannah, Martha, Kalia, and Jessica with Superstition Makeup Co made my entire bridal party feel so beautiful for my wedding day! We had a lot of different comfort levels with makeup among our group, and everyone ended up feeling so great in their final look. We all looked cohesive, naturally beautiful, and our looks lasted the entire night which we all loved. In addition to their professional talents as hair and makeup artists; Hannah, Martha, Kalia, and Jessica were all such wonderful, friendly women who made us all feel at ease and have fun while getting ready. It was such a perfect getting ready morning, and it wouldn't have been complete without Superstition Makeup Co!

    Jay-Lee and Dani did our hair and makeup for my wedding day. When I tell you I never felt more beautiful, I mean it. Not only did everyone in my bridal party look absolutely gorgeous but everyone's hair and makeup looked perfect even after a 95 degree day in Arizona! The whole process was easy with Jay-Lee. She was great to work with and honestly by the end of the day both of my engaged friends had booked her for their wedding day! Having Dani and Jay-Lee in the room while we got ready was so much fun! It felt like friends rather than makeup/hair artists! I highly recommend this company for your hair and makeup needs!
