    I feel it was luck and chance that I came across both Anna and Emily, and so glad that I did. I am not one to wear makeup normally and if I do I prefer the more natural look. I did the trial first and got to meet them and not only they did they take it serious for the look that I wanted they laughed and joked during the session and created such an appealing environment. They were always checking on how everything looked or felt and made notes if anything needed to be changed for the day of and even took pictures to compare for the day of. During said trial we found out that I have oily skin around my eyes and being the case the power foundation wouldn't work cause it was cracking. The day of they used liquid and make held REALLY well. And they were very patient with both myself and my bridal party the morning of and were good with making any adjustments as needed. And honestly BEFORE the ceremony itself my makeup had to be touched up 4-5 times but nothing against them, literally cause I could not stop smiling. And when my MOH after helping me with my dress for the pictures gave me a big kiss on my cheek leaving with a big kiss mark Anna fixed it so no one would have known what had happened and she wasn't mad or anything and even joked with me and my MOH. And going back to the makeup I was started about 11am and it lasted all through the night until I washed it off. I am also talking about it lasting through the rain that happened where I had a fast golf cart race to "try" and keep me dry, as well as all the tears from my first look with my dad (just a tiny touchup needed there) and the ceremony where both me and my husband cried and all the running around (literally running too lol) and the dancing that we did. Emily also showed up as was such a trooper, being pregnant can take alot out of a person and she was just a champion that day. These two are for sure an amazing duo and if you book them you will NOT be disappointed.

    Simmons Beauty Studio was the perfect choice for my wedding day beauty needs! Emily and Anna, the sweet sister duo who run the studio, were an absolute dream to work with. From the moment I met them, I felt like I was hanging out with my best friends. Their communication was top-notch - we were running on time all morning even though I had 9 people getting both hair and makeup done. Everyone was thrilled with their look, and Emily was able to perfectly recreate a Pinterest style I showed her for my hair. They even brought in additional talented artists to help ensure everything went smoothly. Beyond their incredible skills, they went above and beyond in so many ways - providing touch-up bags, taking photos of the bridal party, and even lending me their scissors to cut off my dress straps. I'm slightly sad I don't think I'll ever look as beautiful as they made me again, but I'm so grateful for the role they played in making our special day perfect. Highly recommend Simmons Beauty Studio for any bride looking for a fun, talented, and truly special beauty team!
