Red & Rouge Makeup Workshop

Description

This is where fun and skill come together! Some choose this option as a way to show appreciation to their wedding party & have fun. Others use this as a way to learn important skills for the wedding and beyond. Regardless, you will have a fun time with your wedding party as we go over nearly 30 steps to skin care and makeup. Add some bubbly, and you are in for a treat!

We are available for travel! We will travel for free within zipcode 45769. Each mile thereafter will be charged at $2/mile round trip. Additionally, if there are parking or valet fees that are not comped by your venue - those charges will be added to your bill.
All of our services are priced a la carte, so each member of your party can choose which services are best for them. We do not offer discounts for larger parties.
For makeup, we use all cruelty-free (not tested on animals) products. We use prestige level cosmetics from brands like BareMinerals, theBalm Cosmetics, Emani, Mirabella Beauty and more. For her skin care we have many brands to choose from including Beekman 1802, FarmHouse Fresh, MDSolarSciences, MadHippie, Cocokind, and more. For his skin care we offer brands including Anthony, Jack Black Skin Care, COBigelow, and more. We have all natural, gluten-free and vegan products available for use.
All of our products are hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and ophthalmologist tested. If you have specific skin conditions or additional concerns, you will be asked to notify your artist before your service and any necessary accommodations will be made.
Your health and safety are a top priority. We adhere to standards set in place by Ohio revised code: Chapter 4713-15. We use disposable applicators when necessary and sanitize all tools with hygienic solutions between clients. All artists are either Ohio Licensed Estheticians or Cosmetologists and will have undergone training/certification in communicable disease and blood-born pathogen prevention and control.
Yes! Tattoo coverup begins at $100 and requires a consultation before a final quote can be made. Tattoo coverup will require a minimum and additional 30 minutes to complete.
A minimum of three times. First, we will bring you into our studio in Pomeroy, OH for your non-refundable, $100 consultation. This gives us up to 2 hours to chit-chat. Then, you'll visit us for your Wedding Makeup Trial, also at our location in Pomeroy, OH. This will be much closer to your wedding day and should be done just after any heavy tanning or spray tanning occurs, but NO LESS THAN 3 days prior to your big day. Finally, our third visit is where the magic happens. We meet at our agreed upon location for the final application. Everything is in place at this point for the event application.
YES! As a fully licensed Esthetics Day Spa, we offer much more than just makeup applications. An add-on to consider is a dermaplaning facial the week before your big day! This eliminates all of the peach-fuzz and rough skin patches to allow your skin care to absorb better and your makeup apply smoother with longer wear time! You can also choose a private bridal party on our third floor to just enjoy each other with ala carte services to make your private (and bubbly) get together, a true perk! Makeup Parties are also a fun, learning treat as well! Finally, we offer any necessary waxing (body or facial), brow laminations, and lash lifts.
