Welcome to MXA Beauty Bar in Downtown Wheaton! We offer a variety of services, from custom advanced facials, full body waxing services specializing in Brows and Brazilians and then of course Bridal Makeup. Located in the beautiful, quaint downtown Wheaton. Your skin is so important and a no-makeup look will look its best if the base isn't taken care of. I have a passion for making clients not only look good but feel good from the inside out! The best foundation you could wear is healthy, glowing skin~

My stylists and I work together to make sure your day is amazing and exactly how you pictured! MXA takes care of everything you need for the day of, including a schedule made perfectly to fit your schedule!

Hair & Makeup Dream Team
Mari and Ash were an absolute dream to work with on my wedding day! From the moment they arrived, they brought such a calm, positive energy that helped ease any nerves and made getting ready one of my favorite parts of the day. You can tell they genuinely care about making every person in the chair feel beautiful and confident. They listened to what everyone wanted and absolutely nailed each look. I felt so beautiful, and my hair and makeup lasted all day and night—even through happy tears, dancing, and hours of celebrating! They were also incredibly efficient and actually finished ahead of schedule, which gave us extra time for photos and allowed the morning to feel relaxed instead of rushed. That extra time was such a gift on such a busy day. I can’t recommend Mari and Ash enough. They’re talented, professional, organized, and such a joy to be around. If you’re looking for a hair and makeup team that will make you look amazing while keeping the getting-ready experience stress-free and fun, they’re the perfect choice!

Ashley was AMAZING
Ashley was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding day! Everyone looked and felt so beautiful, and the makeup turned out even better than we could have imagined. She really listened to what everyone wanted and made each person feel confident while still looking natural and like themselves. She was also incredibly professional, on time, and did such a great job keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule throughout the morning. Having a calm, organized presence while getting ready made such a difference for our bridal party. We are so grateful for her talent and would highly recommend her to any bride looking for beautiful makeup and a stress-free experience!

Hair and Makeup
I loved my hair and makeup! Ashley and Mari were amazing to work with - they were quick to respond, made me super comfortable, and did amazing work (as did their team they brought for day of)! My LONG hair curls held through the day and looked so natural. Although I did two makeup trials because I was unsure how heavy I wanted to go, Ashley nailed it when I wanted tweaks to make it super light (she can also do amazing contour though if you're into it!). They both listed to exactly what I was envisioning and made it come to life! All the bridesmaids, grandmas, flower girl, and mothers loved working with them and everyone looked amazing. All my thanks and support to these ladies!!

I am very glad I chose to work with Mari & Ash for my wedding hair and makeup! They were very organized and responsive when I needed to schedule my trial and plan for the wedding day itself. We had 10 women that needed hair and makeup done, and we stayed ahead of schedule all morning. Not only did they achieve the look I wanted, but they were very kind and fun people to have around while getting ready for the big day. I wanted to have my natural curls in my half-up/half-down look, and the final style incorporated that perfectly. Both Mari and Ash were also able to make minor changes from the trial to the wedding day to match my vision/adjust to a longer hair length than I originally anticipated. My look lasted through dinner and LOTS of dancing. Thank you MXA!

MXA is perfect and worth it!
Stunning, brilliant, and perfect! Hair and makeup with Shaley and Marianna are just great. They are so kind, understanding and patient with myself as the bride and the additional people they did within the wedding party. They were so good at listening to the customers and making sure they succeeded with each person and adapting to who they were working with. I had asked for a more glam look with cat eyes and big lashes and there were other companies that told me they were not able to do that BUT NOT MXA! They were so excited to hear that and had no problem doing exactly what I wanted and that meant the world! It was one less thing I had to worry about and will suggest them to anyone who will listen.
