Hi, I am Jen. She/Her and queer. I am the owner and lead stylist/artist for Jen Plus Colour. I see beauty differently. There is no one-size-fits-all formula. No two people that sit in my chair are the same. No two stories are alike. I LOVE stories. I love hearing them and telling them. When we meet, I guarantee that we'll laugh, learn and sometimes even cry. My ultimate goal is that you will trust me with more than just your hair and makeup. Now a little business info: I do about 50 weddings a year. I have a team of super rad pros that I call on when I need help with larger wedding parties.

I am unique in my approach and work endlessly to make sure my clients are all comfortable and represented correctly. I love to help folx embrace their most authentic self. When we meet, I guarantee that we'll laugh, learn and sometimes even cry together. My ultimate goal is that you will trust me with more than just your hair and makeup.

Your date is locked in once your retainer is paid and contract is signed. We do not offer 'soft holds.'
Yes! Unless otherwise contracted, Jen will be the lead hair and makeup artist.
One trial session is included in the hair and makeup package.

Please contact me directly in regards to wedding bookings. On average one Bride, booking hair and makeup (which includes your in-salon hair and makeup Trial Appointment) and 3 party members (hair and makeup) is approximately $1700-$1900*. Again, please inquire to receive current service information, as *prices are subject to change. Our menu is custom designed to be accepting for all folx involved in the wedding, inclusive of all genders!

    The Only HMU Choice in the Desert

    I cannot recommend Jen and her team enough! Jen is so good at what she does, she nailed my wedding HMU vision in a snap! I’ve never felt more beautiful, while still feeling like myself. She and her team were such a positive and easy-going presence, they made everyone feel so comfortable and made our morning feel relaxed and fun. I’ll be looking for reasons to work with Jen again in the future—she’s simply the best!

    We loved Jen!

    Jen was so fun to work with! She was so easy going and friendly while doing our hair and makeup. My partner felt comfortable and relaxed as she isn't big on doing hair and makeup. I totally recommend Jen if you're out in the dessert area!

    Hire Jen Immediately!

    Stop looking anywhere else for a hair/makeup professional, because you found the one right here!! I met Jen when she did my hair and makeup for my boudoir photos. I LOOKED BOMB AF. She really listened to my needs and catered to what was most important to me. She's also incredibly kind, funny, and an overall amazing human! I'm a wedding photographer and i recommend Jen to all of my brides. She is simply THE BEST!
