Hi! I’m Kate. On Instagram I am Katecutmyhair. As a hairstylist, I love being a part of someone’s happy days and getting you ready with perfect hair. I enjoy taking the stress of getting ready away and making the beginning process easy. Your hair has to last all day so you can dance and have fun! After years of experience working on tv and in fashion, I bring my tips and tricks to bridal so your hair lasts all day and even the next.

Besides my career in party and wedding hair, I work in tv, film and fashion. My clients enjoy my experience in fashion and tv so that I am able to bring them a different perspective to their bridal style which is what they are seeing in the magazines. I am able to give their bridal style an editorial touch which makes them stand out. I love giving clients celebrity treatment.

Not always. Sometimes the wedding party and timeline doesn’t call for needing an assistant. Bringing an assistant adds more cost as they are there to speed things up when time is a concern to keep the bridal party on a tight schedule. If the wedding party isn’t large or the timeline isn't tight, we do not bring an assistant.
Yes. This allows us to meet prior to the wedding and try out many hairstyles. It is best to have a clear plan for the morning of the wedding. This allows brides to sit back and relax on their wedding day because the details have already been worked out prior at the trial.
We will work with any extensions you provide. Brides come to us with a variety of extension systems. We also are happy to introduce you to extension types that will work best for you if you have never worn them before.

    Beautiful Hair for my Daughter’s Wedding

    Just looking at my daughter’s wedding photos with her and her husband, we were commenting on how beautiful everyone’s hair looked. Kate was the perfect person to capture the look and essence of an outdoor wedding on the beach. Her calm, warm and supportive vibe kept everyone at ease even while creating gorgeous hair for several of us! Everything just flowed smoothly from that point throughout the event.
