Beauty & Splendor was formally known as Yazzy-Angelique and was birthed from the inspiration of the bible verse Matthew 6:28-31 and also from the song Jireh by Maverick City Music, "...If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor How much more will He clothe you? How much more will He clothe you? If He watched over every sparrow How much more does He love you? How much more does He love you?..." ​A reminder that God will always provide and make a way. Beauty & Splendor has been in business for over 10 years serving all of Southern California. My specialty is enhancing your natural beauty with the use of soft glam.

I'm Yazzy, a mother of two, a follower of Christ, a creator, and an artist. I'm a multi-cultural bilingual- I speak Spanish- Southern Cali girl who loves all things art, fashion, and makeup. I've been in the industry for over 10 years and I love helping clients feel confident in their own skin and capturing their beauty. I have also worked on set as a makeup artist with fashion designer, Vanessa Alfaro, for her bridal campaign. In my downtime, I love to choreograph dance routines and take dance classes at local studios. I also love to bake desserts and pastries for family and friends.

    Yazzy was amazing! She patiently answered all my questions and listened very attentively to my concerns. The makeup she did was absolutely beautiful, exactly the natural glowy look I had asked her for. The best part was that it stayed put all day, even in the heat. I would definitely recommend her.

    I hired Yazzy to do my daughter’s hair for prom, 30 minutes before she was set to arrive I messaged her asking if she could also do her makeup and she graciously said yes on such short notice! Hair and makeup turned out beautifully and my daughter was so happy. I highly recommend Yazzy and will be booking her again for all my daughters upcoming Senior year activities.

    Yazzie was incredible! So kind, helpful, and accommodating! She came only to do the MOB's hair, but when the bride's hair stylist got sick, she happily stepped in and made the bride's new anxieties disappear! Her hair was stunning and she loved it! She put flowers in her hair and added flowers to the flower girl as well! Without a beat, she jumped in and literally saved the day! We would have been in bad shape if it weren't for her! Thank you Yazzy!! Your part of our daughter's wedding will never be forgotten! 😇
