I've been a HMUA for a little over 14 years, worked in the big city (LA) and now back in my hometown raising our 2 littles doing what I love most! I've worked all over the industry! I'm a licensed esthetician and really have found my happy place here with all my beautiful brides! I still love working on sets, all sorts of events but there's just something about being there for someone on their big day that never gets old. I've been a bride myself and can attest to the overwhelming mix of emotions that come with planning such an important day. Unfortunately, I no longer offer trials prior to booking. Trials/Previews are reserved exclusively for brides who have secured their date with me.

Yes! I love it. I am located in Monterey County and primarily service the surrounding areas but I am always open to travel and destinations weddings!

This is a big one! Here's a few reasons why. Bridals take bit more time, not just on the day of but leading up to. Bridal pricing incorporates all the communication and support that goes on behind the scenes with all your other vendors for that day. I'm making timelines, emailing with vendors on multiple occasions and on full virtual support to you leading up to your day! While that's just a piece of it I also take a bit longer consulting with you on the day of and days leading up to. More time spent on application & the amount of work to assure your overall look is exactly as you envisioned it. Our presence sets the mood for your entire day!

I carry so many different brands and products! I tend to carry brands such as Dior, Laura Mercer, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Face Atelier, Patrick Ta, Makeup by Mario, Nars and so many more! I believe all classes of makeup are good makeup. However, I like to carry brands that I love and I know will work because on your special day quality is also key!

Love elopements! Elopements are typically during the week or off season and I do not require a service minimum for them however, I do require. price minimum. Pease reach out for more information.

As soon as possible! If you are 100% sure about any of your vendors please book them as soon as you know they are a great fit! Once you have all the logistics like date and location set book whoever is important to you right away! Monterey county and its surrounding areas are SOOOOO popular for both local and destination wedges that so many vendors book out so fast. I see so many brides scrambling to find vendors that are at the very least available too close to their date.

Amanda and her team (Laura) made my wedding day and whole experience beyond special. She is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and was such a calming presence on a day where nerves were high. For both my trial and day-of, she pulled off exactly that I described and I have never felt more beautiful in my life. She absolutely killed it for me and all of my bridesmaids and our makeup was still looking fabulous until 2 AM. I highly recommend trusting Amanda with your wedding day hair and makeup.

Amanda was absolutely incredible! I can't say enough goods things about her service but the short of it is, don't wait and book her asap! Not only are her skills fantastic, she's fun to chat with while you're in the chair. My makeup lasted from morning to the end of the night during both my trial and the wedding day. One of the girl's make up she did has oily skin and she commented that she didn't have any issues or have to blot once! She was able to make my mom's lashes POP using just mascara - both her technique and knowledge of what products to use are great! I appreciated that she talked to me about the realties of doing my hair and makeup one way over the other and how to adjust if needed. She helped me feel incredible on the day of and I received so many compliments! Thank you so much Amanda!

I am so glad that we had Amanda as a part of our wedding day. Amanda was very responsive as soon as we first starting discussing on Zola. I was so glad she was willing to brainstorm and discuss with me on my vision; I especially appreciated that she did not shy away from styling my naturally curly hair. I did a bridal hair and makeup trial with Amanda and already loved the results. However, she went above and beyond in taking our notes from the trial to make the final look on our wedding day even more elevated! I also loved her touch-up kit and really thoughtful education on how to maintain the look throughout the night. Amanda and her team also did the hair and makeup for my family in the bridal suite. I have heard nothing but amazing feedback about their knowledge, work, and professionalism. The personalization to every individual to make them feel their best was appreciated by everyone. I would 100% recommend working with Amanda!
